We have had more snow overnight. the car is going to need defrosting and digging out. I hope that I will find a space to park near the new one.
The icicles outside the bedroom window from the roof are over 3ft long!
    It looks pretty though!

I am getting my aching bones working and we will gather up and leave my parents in peace. My poor mum is exhausted, and Dad kept her awake snoring all night! (she normally escapes into the room I am in!).
So lets hope we all get a good nights sleep tonight.
    Catch up soon.

thanks for all the lovely messages.
Molly was allowed to sit up yesterday, and is feeling somewhat better.
Hoping to come out today, even if just for the festive period.
She is comforted by the fact we have been able to keep intouch with text messages, and its helped her to while the way away while she has been flat on her back!

    Time to get moving.

Evening all, I am at the new house. The tv, satelite, broadband are all up and running. The heating is WONDERFUL.
I got the car out quite easily and picked up Twin2's BF once more. He has been a god send. He too has been amazed that I have managed to keep on going. The secret is only True grit, and determination, and lots of tablets. With hotwater bottles on my back the minute I sit down. As well as my heat pads.
We have boxes everywhere, but with my BF once more coming over from Oxford, we have DGD's room just about sorted, with her lovely wall chart stickers up, her cabin bed built, (twin2s BF and me), and my bed built. (my BF), and then boxes cleared to be able to get into my bed etc, and then the boys cleared the sittingroom abit and put the sofa and wall unit in situe for me. We have still got my daughters extra furniture here as her dad was not able to collect on Monday as planned.
I have a lot of the food stuffs unpacked, but there are just not enough cupboards for all the gadgets and pans etc etc.
I have no cooker tonight, and was going to use the electric fry pan, but I was just too tired to cook really. DGD had scrambled egg on toast, but by the time I got her into bed, I really couldnt be bothered.
We had a late lunch around 2.45 of toasted cheese sandwiches, so that will do me, with maybe a biscuit and a cup of tea in a bit.
Alas the washingmachine will not fit tightly to the pipes so we had a gush of water, when we tried to hook it up. So no washing machine for the minute.
Gas fitter due to come in the morning, and i realised I hadnt the cash left on me for his visit at 8am. So I rang him about an hour ago. He is going to ring me at 9am to see what the weather is like as he is not sure he can get here. So I may be without a cooker. Which means I will have to dig out the electric fry pan, and use the microwave and it.
Fresh food stocks are limited as we are due to go to Oxford for Christmas either late tomorrow after DGD's Party at Nursery, or Friday.
    Weather permitting of course.

My son has been intouch, only as he wants his Xbox and his presents. HA!
There are a couple of xbox games for him, but nothing else. (and I cannot find which box they are in, at the moment). I did remind him that he should have been helping me. That he will have to come here and sort out his boxes for his stuff. Also that he is getting a Sofa Bed that was nearly £200 so dont expect much from me. Money doesnt grow on trees.!

I sent an email to the SW about the funding not arriving. But I doubt I will get it this year now.
With the move the odds and sodds presents have not been bought, and I feel a little guilty. BF asked me when he arrived this morning if I had got lots of things for DGD's Sack, as his kids had lots to open. Nope.! There were a couple of little parcels but that was it. I am sure I sent them back with him the other day. So no. I dont have lots of presents. We dont in our family. We dont usually have the money to buy them in the first place!.

Anyway, I have had a hot bath this evening. Luxury. I managed to get in and out with the grab rails. And to be in a bathroom that is warm was AMAZING! Even if there was a huge packing box still on the floor in there with kitchen stuff in it!.

I am not long off to my bed now. I am hoping that I will sleep better in my own bed, but the road outside is a new thing, and I hope it will not keep me awake.

Molly is home tonight, but straight to her bed. She really is not very well. But wanted to be home with her family for the festive season. I saw her daughter yesterday.

    fantastic news.

just one cautionary tale, be VERY careful of unpacked boxes as trip hazards. it was tripping over our recycling box which did for my shoulder. and it wasn't even in the way! I just caught my foot on it as I went to walk past it. :o

physio started this am: well you know what that's like!

    Oh Sue, yuk!
I will be careful. Its the fact that things are all in different places and stubbing my toes. Especially where I cannot always judge with the left,
I have to go back to the cottage to finish off few things, and i left the walking stick in the sttingroom up against the wall. As I had the car parkd at the door to load up! Derr brain that I am.
Anyway I am off to bed now. As long as Idont sleep walk we will be OK!:rotfl:
