Hi Moo Can you clear some space in your PM. It is over the limit. So pleased that you are feeling positive and very good news for Biggest of Mooloo x. Hope DGD enjoys the party xx

Well if my carpet wasnt dirty enough, it is now. DS brought his mate home with him over the weekend, and he brought his dog. I was not thrilled, but too much of a soft touch to argue about it. Alas this morning I have come down to the dam thing having done his business on the carpets in the front room!. I have made them clean it up, and the rug is in the washing machine, but the main carpet can only be washed. We are having two viewings today, and the place is a mess. So I guess that we are going to be cleaning today, after I have taken DGD to Nursery. We are going later then normal as I am taking my time today.
I am very sore, DGD jumped on my side this morning, while we were in bed, and decided to bounce, and my spine just cannot take that kind of a pounding.!

No snow yet, but a couple of inches of hard frost.

Last night I had a problem with the internal lights on the car. When I collected DGD from the nursery, the lights decided not to go off, and no switch to turn them off. Stayed on even after the car was locked etc So after the battery being flat the other day, I am having the distinct feeling that its probably not going to start for me today.
So I must get ddressed up warmly and be ready to get the boys to push the car out of the garage to see if we can get next door to help us with the jump leads. The thought makes me just want to stay in the house, but we are down to the last ounce of milk and for that alone I will need to venture out. No UHT milk left either! Bad planning there.!

    Hi Moo,
The outside light control pulls out pushes in to control the internal lights on your car. Its not at all clear and i know I got caught out until I looked at the manual. hugs x

Ah I will have to see if that was the case.
I have the car booked into the garage for a quick look as I think my exhaust has started to blow. Think that the engine is sounding a lot noisier, and I do remember then warning that the thing was starting to corrode.! Dam another couple of hundred pounds out of the kity for the house.
Still no sign of the petrol money back.
We have had DGD over a year now!.

Managed to pick the day up, the car started ok, thank goodness. Then When we dropped DGD and the lad back into Town, we nipped to Tesco. I treated myself to a new laundry basket as the otherone kept snapping. I looked at it, and thought, I am mad struggling with a broken basket when a new one is only £7! So we have a new one. The other is in the black bin, and will be carted off to the tip tomorrow.
I have changed my car insurance, and the contents insurance. Sent of the money for the removals for next Thursday/Friday.
Ordered the front room carpet to be delivered on Wednesday.
Arranged for Sky to be changed over. And :TFor once they are doing the installation for Free. Some promotion that they are doing. Which is brilliant as when I rang in October they said it would cost me £60 to move house.! So new dish will go up on Saturday 11th.

    Things are finally coming together.
I feel so much happier, and starting to feel as if I have managed to take control of things for once in my life.
I am very tired, and my arm is not at its best today. But at least we have managed to achieve things.

DS is talking happily about the move, and that he will be at home more. I hope so. Although it does look like it means this lad from the family from hell is going to be around alot too. To give him his due he was polite, and he did clear up the dogs mess. But boy can he talk. I had to keep pausing my TV while he talked, then play inbetween. Took me an hour and a half to watch Garrows Law last night!.

I am going to try and cut out, or at least draw up the numbers for the advent calander, garland that I have started to make. Bit late in the day, but heyho. Once it is done we will have it forever, and it can be filled with different gifts, ideas, tree decorations as the years go by.

Missed Molly on line today. Hoping that your feeling better, and that we can get intouch soon. Hugs.

    Night all.

Dont know what got into me, i didnt go to bed until after 11pm in the end. Ordered some Wall art stickers, for Christmas and some glow in the dark ones for DGD's new bedroom.
I have been out in the snow, and taken DS to the bus. Back for our breakfast and then we are off to see the boys for DGS1's birthday today. I am hoping that they are going to be there and that the carer doesnt cancel becuase of the snow. DGD is excited to be going to see the boys.
    She always is.

Count down now, 10 days and we will be moving. 3 days till I get the keys.

  • Have a good visit Mooloo and Happy Birthday to your grandson xxx
