Well we are on the final count down.
DGD should have been at Nursery today, but she still has a bit of a cough, and so I didnt set up the alarm. We are taking the morning slowly.
She wants to go and see her Mum, so I called her, and said so. She said we couldnt go around until 3.30! as she had to tidy up. I said 6 hours to tidy up? And then she said, alright then 1.30! and started to screech at me when I mentioned that she had said her place was tidy yesterday, she said she was looking forsomething and forgot to tidy up! I really do feel for DGD who really wants to see her Mummy. She hasnt seen her for a week, and she wont see her again for over a week!
My Mum has succumbed to the cold that we are all passing around. I hope she will be ok, as they are off in thier caravan again tomorrow as well.
BF has had a leak in the downstairs bathroom, so this morning he is playing at master plumber, tiler etc as he sorts it out, so he doesnt need us around at the moment.
I didnt get much housework done yesterday as my arm didnt like it, and so today, there are a few bits I would like to do before we go still. Especially a mass move of toys from the sittingroom up into DGD's bedroom! They will come down again fast enough, but it will give us a clear space that will releive my "clutter stress" anxiety that it brings with it.
I would like to do the same with the sewing, but will not be able too move it much, maybe just tidy it up a bit.! Dont want to use up all of my spoons as have a fair bit of driving to do, and of course, then there is the journey tomorrow. At least BF is going to drive to the airport.

Right time for my next move. Getting us both dressed. Better ring the nursery as well.

Thanks for all the well wishes for the holiday. I really am looking forward to it!
    Boa tarde!

Hello People, I am back. Well I am back in the UK, but at the BF's and coming home on Sunday. We had a successful holiday. Well it was the best yet really. The weather was wonderful, only rained on one day. Bit of a stormy sea, and rained mostly in the evening, so didnt really bother us.
DGD took to the water like a little duck. Cant say swan as she was not very elegant.
She was loved and admired by all the old folks in the hotel and the staff alike. She wore her lovely frocks, (curtousy of my Ebay buying) in the evenings to dinner and was the belle of the ball!.
I managed to get her a cake for her birthday, and a few of the tables around us, sang happy birthday to her for her evening meal.
We went to the zoomarine and she was fascinated by the dolphinshow, and the sharks in the tanks too.
My BF came up trumps and was brilliant with her. Taking her in the sea, and the pool, up on the rocks and along the beach for a walk.
No contact from the family was peaceful. Alas on my return yesterday the college contacted me to tell me that DS hasnt been in. I cannot reach him.
But the council rang and they are nominating me for a house in Brackley. Fingers crossed.
Got to go, as using the family computer and its needed.
Catch up on Sunday when I get home.

Good to see you all had a lovely holiday. Fingers crossed for the Brackley house, because Brackley has schools and shops and looks very nice. Life there would be so very much easier for you and DGD.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I am delighted you enjoyed your holiday. Good news on the house, hope it works out for you. It's a pity you had to come back and get the college contacting you for that reason, could be worse though.
