What milk is he on? Have you tried a richer babies milk? Is he gaining weight ok? You need to speak to your hv about this for help. When i had my first child in 2000 we were advised not to wean until 4 months, now they advise 6 months...you never know they may delay weaning until they reach school age :p

He's on SMA. He's gaining weight fine, put on over 3lbs since he was born.

I don't really want to give him anything solid him until I know he's ready but I need a good nights sleep!! :D

Flower - Thanks very much :(

I didn't mean to post so many times but the messages I quoted were on different pages and muti-quote only works for one page!

    :D

I've been sent a couple of 0% credit card cheques today for 6 months. Funny how they send them when i already have a largish 0% balance which is about to expire. I suppose they are hoping that I will make a transfer and trap the old debt at high interest. What i may actually do is to transfer the largis balance elsewhere temporarily, then transfer it back plus the £1,400 from the other card. This would involve balance transfer fees of around £270 so I need to do my sums first to see if it's viable. No rush as I have till the end of July to decide (minus clearance times for two BTs). I would rather have a low rate LOB deal so I may phone around in the next week to see if anything is available. It's not always best policy to close a card when it gets to zero. Sometimes it's good to keep it for a temporary balance holder if you get the chance to juggle the APRs. Of course, it's better if you know yourself well enough to trust yourself not to spend on top of a BT.

Yesterday the government announced that CC cheques will now be banned as they encourage people to get into more debt. It's part of their "shutting the gate after the horse has bolted" method of preventing huge personal debt....genius eh?!

    Hi everyone:j,

Would it be ok if I join? I will be making my PADs to my saving account so I can save up for a deposit on a house!!

And I also would like to be part of the weight loss challenge as I have moved from a very active stressful job to a lovely office job and put on.... nearly 2 stone!!:eek:

    Glowie2k2 xx

Welcome Glowie2k2 of course you can join just please put your PAD amount in colour and/or bold so that it can be easily spotted by the adder upper (me this month) and glad you want to join the weight loss challenge Danko will pick up the weight loss posts someone (I have no idea who :o) is struggling with that one but is hoping to do better next week.

Welcome to the gang be warned it is addictive and once you join you cannot leave and also you may spot a bit of madness here and there :rotfl: but otherwise we are a nice bunch.
