My PAD today is £2.09
I am a bit p**d off this morning, my OH has not been paid :mad: We go along for 6 months being paid on Thursdays, then all of a sudden he will be paid on a Friday. Well today is Friday and still no pay. I wouldn't worry but this employer has a cavalier attitude to it all and 2 years ago when he didn't pay him till the Saturday a dd went out on the Friday and we got charged. His boss's answer was get an OD!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea we have one thanks but are in it big time..............he then tried to tell my OH how we should run our finances. My prob this morning is that do I waste my time going to our BS to remove emergency funds and put them in the bank or wait in the hope he will be paid tomorrow (dd's hit big time on monday)
Sorry for sounding off but you guys are so nice :kisses:
Just goes to show the discussion I had with someone over a small emergency fund was justified :rotfl:cos I would be stuffed without itOh Sue that's awful! Hope OH gets something sorted! It makes me so mad when employers tell people how to run their finances  Just cause we all ain't earning big money to not worry about things like that. Hope you get everything sorted and you know we're all here!

Bless yaknew you would understand :T
Its funny but his boss once gave us a lecture about shopping around for insurance and how we should change insurance companies every year to cut costs, so quick as a flash I said "Yes and do you use a cashback site as well????...................." :rotfl:He hadn't a clue!!!
The trouble with my OH, he won't say anything, me on the other hand would point out his contractual rights!!!!!! It does say in his contract "to be paid every Friday"
The thing that has made me the most angry was I was going to PAD a further £50 ish quid today :mad::mad: and now I will have to wait  God this is so addictive:rotfl:Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -

Can't believe that Sue! Telling your hubby how to run his finances??!?!
My friend was told she was getting a 10% paycut over the next 3 years and when she complained, she was told she shouldn't have overstretched herself on her mortgage (she hadn't). The Cheek!!! Makes me so
Well decided that friday will be weigh-in day for me and I've LOST - drum roll please........
3LBS!!!! Yaaaaayyyy!! Thank you Danko!
Have a good day everyone! (Just in the middle of a row with DH about Michael Jackson. He came downstairs and said "Are they STILL going on about him?" He's so compassionate - NOT)
Ooops - nearly forgot £1 pad please Paul0 -
Hi All
Can you believe it about Michael Jackson?!
Thank goodness it is Friday, but it is going to be a long day today - exams today so I shall be mostly invigilating and photocopying scripts prior to them going out to markers - oh joy!
Today's PADs are £1.26 to Abominable Amex and £10.26 to Evil Egg, making a total today of £11.52
In weight loss news, I have put on 2 lbs this morning, but if the last 2 weeks are anything to go by, that'll be gone by tomorrow!!
Bye all!

Yes I can. I'm not particularly surprised. First rumours of skin cancer. Then concert postponements. Then loads of denials. weeks ago I was wondering if those concerts would ever take place.0 -

OMG I bet your friend was speechless. I can understand that times are tough and a lot of the local firms are laying off drivers but they had this attitude along time ago. I actually worry everytime they don't pay him on a thursday...........................just because they do have an attitude - we have delayed paying you but its not our fault. He even had the cheek to repremand my OH yesterday for not taking me out for a meal (been married 21 years yesterday) I said to OH well he should have bl**dy well paid you, tell him that :DAnother good one that has been said is "you should have a least 3 months salary saved just in case!!!!"
Well done on the 3lbs, way to go :T:T:T:T:TDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
