    :::sliiiiiiiiiides back in:::

    haha.. Helloooooo!

    I'm alliiiiiiiive!... :T

Okay.. it's almost month 3 of my (self) DMP.. So far things are just ticking along..

Hitachi Capital are STILL being AWFUL!.. (sooo nasty!).. Also charging me £25-£50 left right and centre for EVERYTHING they do regarding me. A letter/call/default sum charge.. they are reeeeeally stinging me.
But I still don't care.. ::sniffs:: They don't scare me.. (just charge me!)
I'm going to be coming up with some way of tackling them in the the next few days.

My other 11? (see! I cant even remember now!) :rotfl:.. creditors.. are not too bad. A few of them have 'kind of' accepted my payments... and told me we can keep it that way for the next 6mths and review it again.

Others I have heard virtually nothing from at all.. other than the usual 'You are now 3 payments behind, please bring your account up to date' .. etc.

HELLO!? Read my frickin letters! ..:rolleyes:

I am about to send those ones another letter.. saying ... 'HELLO!? Read my frickin letters!' ;)
    :rotfl:

Anyhooo.. I am just paying everyone the amount I said I would.. each month.

I did see that Dispatches programme about Debt Collectors the other day.. I was scared to watch it at first in case it frightened me.. :rotfl:.. But all it did was make me angry. (which is a good thing really.. it fuelled my tank again)

    Edited to Add:
99% of the time my land line is unplugged.. Some of them Egg/Halifax.Hitachi.. have called my work office. Tisk! (thankfully.. I have been able to (somewhat) explain the situ to my bosses.. and they are great on my behalf on the phone.
Since I removed my phone number (on-line) from HSBC .. I have had no more calls from them.. in fact.. (other than the calls at work) .. I have not had ONE call. (that I have heard).. for more than 2 weeks now. .. Cuts the stress (and reminders of it all!) down for me (and the kids) not having the land line (or my mobile) ringing so often.

A strange thing today though.. I had a funny looking 'tear off' strip.. (like the ones we get for the kids injection appointments from the doctors) ... But it was from Halifax.. saying.. 'We will be calling your house on blah blah date' .. If this is not convenient.. please call.. blah blah) ... That was it.

I had to re read it a few times.. because I THOUGHT it said.. 'calling AT your house' .. but it doesn't.. Sooo.. I'm assuming they only mean a phone call'..

(Tho!.. I am fully prepared for a home visit.. :::gets out blazing guns::: )

Eupho - welcome back hun!! its just not been the same without you......

LOL re your Halifax ''calling card'' - i'm the same - i would lurve someone to come calling at my house - the words 'foxtrott oscar' spring to mind!!

creditor update - all gone v v quiet - -all on board cept Egg - who are now passing on to their DCA (not MARLIN i hope - haha)

what can i say to that - cept i'm paying - that max i can & no County Court will order us to pay more so there!!

& to top it all off - hubby has been served with compulsory redundancy. all i can say he works for one of banks who are partly govt owned & they are the worst of the worst so it may actually do him a favour.

the payout is rubbish & will need it to survive for a few months. would love to buy new tv / have a holiday / buy STUFF!! but that ain't happening. how life has changed. sigh

    still onwards & upwards!!!!

    sas
    Massive !! LBM June 09 - Debts [STRIKE]£70k [/STRIKE] now £63k (PPI Claim succesfull)

will never ever ever get credit again (couldn't if i wanted!!!! - LOL - have to laugh, keeps me sane.

    DFD 9 years away......................

Hi all, hope you can help with something. I'm on a self admin DMP at the mo. I wrote to all of my creditors proposing reduced payments which I started around 3 weeks ago now. I had a letter from Littlewoods today refusing reduced payment (shocker), and I was just about to send off the lovely "please reconsider" letter but I notice it states do not sign. Can someone shed any light onto why not just before i send it? Thanks

I think it is just incase the creditor may try and add your "signature" to a CCA if you request one and they have lost it,I am sure that I have read that somewhere on here.....I never sign any of my letters, just in case

Evening all, hope you are all well. Two new noobies.

I had a letter from the dreaded Moorcroft today, who are already looking after a small Nationwide OD. They have now taken over my Abbey OD...

So I rang them up, as I always intended to be open and honest with my creditors. Was met with a frosty lady at the other end, who as usual asked for a card payment. I said no and told them about PayPlan. Fine they said and asked for contact from them, and in the meantime demanded a 'token' payment from me to hold the account. I told them I had no surplus and will get PP to get in touch straight away.

    Nasty lady. :(
