Morning All
It's official... i'm skint!Wonder what you all do when the money runs out?! Having budgeted til i'm blue in the face I'm still not managing.. i.e got 20 squids and need travel fare (12) petrol (10) cat food (13) and stuff for lunches (who knows)...
I'm feeling guilty too as from Wednesday I'll be in Africa for two weeks on an all inclusive hol... this was booked over 18 months ago when things weren't horrendous... starting to think maybe it's not a good idea to go.. but then again it's paid for and won't need any cash while I'm out there... arghhh!
Spoke to CCCS for the first time on Tuesday - I've finally added Simply Be/Candid Collections/JD Williams whoever they call themselves onto my DMP... CCCS are fab, although I did feel a bit shouted at that I'd not put it on lol... but the budget is re-worked and i've upped my payment.. *slaps her wrists*
But... it's Friday tomorrow!!! lol
CA xxProud to have dealt with with my debts

Eupho, i was wondering where you'd got to!! Glad things are going well!!
Good to see Saskia and MD back again too!! Sorry to hear about hubby's redundancy Saskia! Fingers crossed it turns out to infact be for the best!
CharliesAngel, definitely go to Africa if it's all paid for!! after all if you stay home you'd need money for that anyway!
mcrfan, they DRIVE ME UP THE WALL!! if they haven't received paperwork from people it must be their fault (or a lie!)!! I was tempted to pay the difference at first as well but pp advised not to and now it's too much!! i even offered this to the nasty man on the phone! but by that point he hated me and had given up on me and even that wasn't good enough! So I shall wait for the default!! Bring it on!! I've tried my best to work with them! And i give up now!DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 261Debt at start of DMP (Jan 2009) = 46,147.86 Now = 36,826.98DFD = [STRIKE]Jan 2014[/STRIKE] May 2013 ([strike]60[/strike] [STRIKE]52[/STRIKE] 41 payments to go)NSD:Nov 12/12:jDec 9/10 Jan 5/10Slowly but surely:coffee:0 -
The sooner you get your defaults the better really, they drop off your credit history after 6 years I believe. Not many of mine actually marked my history as defaulted they sent the letters out but my history is marked as "arrangement to pay". The one default (out of 10 creditors) that got marked now shows a balance of 0 even though I pay a DCA.0

afternoon all
i am soo bored at work. have lost the will to live
but as a work for one of the major banks - you know how i feel!! & listening to someone i work with slagging off someone who has got themselves into debt - i feel like screaming at her -''if people didn't borrow - we wouldn't have jobs''
i know thats a c**p way to look at things considering the debt boat we are all in - but - arrrghhh!!!!
anyway - dmp first payment starts aug 1st - & my bank a/c is in credit 2 weeks after payday. bloomin miracle.
its still scary thinking about the default notices winging thier way to my credit file as we speak - but i've come to realise i will never have debt like this again - so defaults / ccj's - sooner the better.
ta Daffy re hubbys redundancy - i think it will be for the best as well.
sas xMassive !! LBM June 09 - Debts [STRIKE]£70k [/STRIKE] now £63k (PPI Claim succesfull)
will never ever ever get credit again (couldn't if i wanted!!!! - LOL - have to laugh, keeps me sane.

Hello all,
Blimey - we've started this thread moving at some speed again haven't we ??
Slo down - I'm blonde lol
Hope you all are ok.
My Mum has just given me £900 - a bonus from work she wasn't expecting. I'm over the moon at her generosity - can't quite put it into words - she's a star !
Anyway, I have a Natwest OD on my DMP its for £2400 - my lowest creditor (sp?)
I'm going to give a full and final a go - I'm pretty sure they will tell me to eff off but gotta be in it to win it.
Wish me luck

I remember you too!
I imagine its a busy time for new DMPers now with reduced work hours etc, and I bet your advice is wonderful and supportive.
I feel a bit bad being away its hard to come back but I honestly don't know where my time has gone since September. So I thought with 6 weeks off I would poke my head in and say hi to new people and after a DMP you get your life back or even on a DMP.
Apologies if I make no sense just had a wisdom tooth removed and it hurts now before the anesthetic has worn off :eek:0
