    Hiya,

These charges are unlawful and can be reclaimed later once the reclaiming hold is lifted.

Let them keep adding them on and reclaim them back at a later date. You can expect at least 8% interest to be added to any refund. Think of it as a high interest savings account!!!;):rotfl:

This is par for the course with LTSB. They did the same with my overdraft account and added an extra £1200 to the debt!!!:eek::eek: This doubled the amount owed to them.

I will claim it all back however and I will expect the interest to be applied also.

    Keep your chin up!!!

    Cocker:)

I thought it still had to go to court (the bank charges thing) meaning it might be found not to be unlawful? I dont know, I am not really up on all this! Just pretty damn annoyed! LOL
Is it worth trying to reclaim from them now? I tried to reclaim charges (old charges) from natwest on grounds of poverty (sounds awful...poor little me!) and they have sent me forms to fill in, will see what happens there!!

wondering this too-pretty sure tsb and barclays are about to take loan payments out of our old empty accounts, therefore incurring the overdraft and its charges, would love to know how things go for you both re reclaiming charges.good luck with it all.

hi all ive just closed my account with gregory pennington (a debt management company that charges fees) to go with CCCS(who are free) as ive paid GP over £1500 in fees over the years an i would have paid off 1 of my debts by now
the thing is GP are saying 'ill probably get charges and interest started again as CCCS havnt got the facility to deal with the creditors like they have and with the current econmic climate the creditors might go on to further action as ive broke the agreement again'
i shouldnt actually break the aggreement though as long as CCCS make the payments to them next month
i am feeling so nervous about this
im sure GP are just trying to get more money from me but its still worrying
has any1 else been in this situ or know of it?
can you put my mind at rest please xx
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

Sure someone will be along soon who has been with GP or one of the other fee-charging companies, but just to say it does sound like irresponsible scaremongering to me... As the famous quote from the Profumo affair goes "well he would say that, wouldn't he". :rotfl:
