    Hi everyone :hello:
We are due our first review now with CCCS - I can't believe it's been 6 months already!!
I have been putting off calling them as some of our other outgoings have gone down a bit, but we are still struggling. I think I may need to take some of the good advice on here and tweak the figures a little. :o
Could anyone tell me do they go through your whole budget again like when you first start or do they just ask about any changes?

    Thanks,Sue

Just wanting people's thoughts on something before I ask CCCS...I would really like to do a course which could lead to a 2nd job pt or possibly a ft change in career. But it is the cost. I have no savings and they can't offer me installments. The only way I could pay for it would be to half my dmp payments for 2 months. Do you think this is a good idea? I am very worried about making changes to my payments as I have had no problems so far and don't want to risk upsetting the almighty creditors heehee!
But it is something I really want to do so I feel torn.

Also should I be honest about what it is for or say it is car repairs or something??

Tried looking at that government career development loan but as you have to apply to a bank for a loan I'm thinking I might just be declined...especially as 2 out of 3 of the banks in this scheme are my creditors!!

Totally agree about the tweaking. I am a tweaker too! I think you have to otherwise you would go insane.

    Morning All,

I have a day of work today and it is glorious sunshine :T I am still up at 630am though but never mind. I have just finished my F&F letter to Next Directory offered 60%, which I think is reasonable and because such a small balance it is not a huge reduced settlement. It also means I can offer my other creditor about 60% if needed (havent done that letter yet), just waiting to see the reaction from Next first.

Regarding creditor updates and my fear of Barclays - still not heard anything (sure something will be in the post today now ) since my initial termination notice on the current account and letters saying the dmp payments weren't enough for the loans, so it's just a waiting game I guess now.

Spending the rest of the day out with a friend and her little girl so may head off to the beach with a picnic and try not to thing of money ect.

    Have a goo day everyone

    Hi all,
well I'm really naffed off now. I rang all my creditors said this month would be a one off reduced payment and then go back to normal... have very little money left... and...

The passenger side window on the car has come off it's runners and doesn't close properly, then someone went down the road breaking wing mirrors - not just the glass on ours but the whole unit, and now my car is overheating and the cooling fan isn't cutting in :(
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1748337

At this point I would usually go leave the car with my dad. But now I can't and I'm stuffed as to paying to get it done, which means I'm going to be stuffed getting to work if it gets worse :(

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it, how I can get money to get it fixed?
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Hi Sue :hello:

We had our first review with CCCS last week - they do go through the whole budget so it's useful to have a copy ready to hand with any changes. They were fine with me - really nice guy.

I can't recommend Quidco enough. So far this year I've received 7 quid for applying for a co-op account that I was rejected for (I ended up with a cashminder account...), £28 from Swiftcover car insurance (very cheap btw) and just waiting on 14 quid for signing up to a free trial with Lovefilm. You can always leave after the trial.

It's great if you're not in a hurry for cash, and always a nice surprise when you get it.
:rotfl:haha.. me blithering on about using Quidco.. I didnt use it to get my Co-Op accounts..:rolleyes: (same as you, refused.. then cashminder)
