Do what I'm going to do............. I had a guy who didn't send me the article I won.....and Paypal were useless "insufficient funds" being the cause.
Lucky for me...the guy lives in a small town and has a unique surname ( he uses a tesco web account in his own name...!!! ). I've confirmed it's him ( don't ask how, but it was very easy!! )...and he lives on his own.

He's in for an awful fright this weekend when I'm heading via his home with a few footie friends...returning from a match........maybe I'll pop around for a cup of tea and a chat?!

    HI
I recently ordered an item from a website and found after 30 days i did not receieve the item. I then filed a dispute against the paypal, the seller did not respond and so i won the case. But paypal says that the seller has not insufficient funds to refund me. So will i ever get the money back? I paid using a HSBC maestro debit card. Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly the same thing with me, won the case but NO refund, im not a happy bunny

It really annoys me that Paypal ........who in my view act as a bank.......the renege their responsibility if their "client" has no funds. IMHO Paypal should cough up and chase their client for the monies...not wash their hands in this shabby way.Any views on this??

I will never use paypal again, cheques only, and goods posted only when cheque has cleared.

You need to use a Credit Card when you pay via Paypal, then you are insured.

Paying by debit card is like just paying by cash or cheque; you've got no protection (though if you send payment in the post you can get your footy mates to pop round as noted above)! :)

Sounds like fraud to me if you got it back twice....?

Paypal take an age to refund, I complained to them and said that my CC would ahve refunded straight away.

Paypal responded that some CC's take up to a month to refund rather than defend their slowness; I just said next time I am going to my CC company straight away to no further response from them...

You could try small claims court. It costs about £40 to file the claim but when you win, and you would you would get the £40 and the £60 they owe you back. You could always threaten the company with small claims as they would know they would have no chance if you did file it.
