I've got GH:WT game and guitar as well, just use the RB2 instruments. It's down to personal taste but I just prefer RB2, esp when you can get RB1 for £15-20 and import all the tracks

Why don't you jusgt play a real instrument? Surely its far more rewarding?

Lets see - after 20 mins playing RB2 etc. you can basically nail some good rewarding songs, particularly good at parties where booze is involved. After 20 mins with a real guitar, I managed a couple of G chords....

It's called fun :P

On the subject of gamer IDs. My steam ID (TF2 and L4D esp) and PS3 ID (Burnout, RB2 and Killzone 2 mainly) are both the same as my ID on here.

Look me up some time. Survival mode in L4D is an absolute blast.

So I guess the general concensus is that rock band, guitar hero etc are something you wouldn't really play on your own, but with friends or whatever?

Interesting they are bringing a beatles one out - i hope its harder than on a real guitar!

Guys I'm Back. el_gringo go spout your anti guitar hero/rock band elsewhere mate. I play guitar everyday but it takes commitment and its not for everybody. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are games and are simple fun that you can have when your having a party or just want to unwind. Completely different so stop comparing them. Guys if you dont talk gaming then talk elsewhere on the forum.

fo2319 when I get KZ2 i'll have a game with you on ps3. My controllers(sixaxis) are both broke(what a surprise eh?) so I cant add anyone just now. My PS3 id is P.Stevenson if anyone cares( Right now I only play COD5 but soon i'll be playing fifa09,killzone 2,and UFC09)
