Huh? You get the whole shebang with Guitar Hero too! I prefer the action on Guitar Hero anyway I have all of them! However...Rock Band THE BEATLES is out in September, cannot wait.

I know what you are saying, I know the Wii is a less powerful console, but there are some great games for the Wii. Do not underestimate a console that people see as being marketed mainly for women and children. Wii Sports is CLASS!

I prefer Rock Band for guitar and drums. I don't know why but I just find Guitar Hero quite dull to play. I really don't like the songs in Guitar Hero World Tour. GH2 & 3 were very good though. I bought Guitar Hero Metallica the other day and love it too though but then I love Metallica. I think for some reason World Tour just didn't come together very well.
Guitar Hero Greatest Hits is out soon too and at first I thought "No way. Not buying ANOTHER Guitar Hero game this soon after Metallica". Then I saw Pantera and Through Fire and Flames in the song list Now I'm tempted.

I do agree the Wii has some great games, not many but they are there, graphics aren't always needed for a good game.

As for guitar hero and rock band, I played right form the Start on the PS2, then got 3 and WT (full band kit) on the 360. I am actually running a modifed version of 3 on my PC with all the tracks from 1,2,80s so i don't have to keep getting the PS2 out and can use my 360 guitar. Not played any of the rockband games yet, will get one eventually.

Speaking as a musician, i've not got this whole'guitar hero' and 'rock band' lark...

Why don't you jusgt play a real instrument? Surely its far more rewarding?

lol.. wow back to this old arguement too. For the same reason I don't go and kill people and steal cars in real life instead of playing Grand Theft Auto. It's just for fun and it's just a game. I have no musical talent whatsoever and have no interest in playing guitar for real but I enjoy playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Although I have actually started taking drum lessons because I've always wanted to play drums and I'm hoping that maybe percussion is the one piece of musical talent I possess. I'm not going to hold my breath though.
