Asda Smart Price Fruit & Fibre at 64p is quite good for the price and has lots more fruit and nuts than than Sainsbury's Basics Fruit & Fibre, which I thought wasn't as good.

Does anyone have a good substitute for Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Clusters Milk Chocolate Curls?

We have Tesco or Asda own brand Rice Krispies both are ok, same with Tesco or Asda Malted Wheats.

We have tried several own brand Cornflakes which are ok.

We have tired all the value Cornflakes. We thought they were all vile except Sainsburys Basics Cornflakes which we think taste GRRRREAT and a bargain at 46p ish. They are made in Poland.

Can't wait for someone to start selling own-brand Oatibix rip-offs. HOW expensive is that stuff? It's almost all I can eat for breakfast other than porridge...:( x x x

In Lidl the big boxes (72?) of fake Weetabix I think are great, I think the small boxes are a different maker and I have always avoided those.

I'd keep avoiding them if I were you:rotfl:
  • I buy morrisons own cornflakes, they are about 46p a box and everyone in the house loves them, and my lot are usually fussy
Also find Lidls version of Special K with strawberries go down well, and they say they can't taste the difference from the original
  • I like Tesco's Honey Nut Cornflakes better than any other brand, although i guess that depends on taste really.

:j I was beginning to think I was the only one who likes basics cornflakes so thanks for that :D I also haven't noticed them getting soggy quickly like some on here have noted so was beginning to wonder if I was going batty :o. They are an absolute billy bargain IMO (75% cheaper than Kelloggs!)

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??
  • Another vote here for Sainsbury's own brand version of Weetabix - I can't tell the difference.

I actually prefer the JS version of Bran Flakes to Kelloggs' too.

Have tried both Asda and Tesco Frosted Flakes as a substitute for Kellogs Frosties. I found that the Tesco brand was nicer the Asda ones went soggy a bit too quick for my liking. Both are priced at around £1.60 for 750g box Kellogs are £2.38.

I always used to stay away from anything but proper branded weetabix. but recently tried the Tesco version and found them absolutely fine - half price too!!!
