I agree with op's oh. Sunnybisk are horrible. But sainsburys own weetabix are indisdinguishable (at least to us) from the real thing.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Tescos Strawberry Crisp is AMAZING!!!!
Morrisions and asdas taste like cardboard but id say Tescos are almost as good as jordans.0 -

I asked otherhalf to get me branflakes. Asked him to get me the Tesco ones not thinking for one moment he would get the cheapest. Really thought I would be eatting cardboard but to be honest I wouldn't go back to any other brand!
A while ago the people in our family who eat branflakes tried these and hated them, I tried them and I thought they were tasteless but bearable, they might have changed the recipe since.0 -

In Lidl the big boxes (72?) of fake Weetabix I think are great, I think the small boxes are a different maker and I have always avoided those.0 -
can anyone recomend an own brand replacement for Kellog's honey loops?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

I can recommend a substitute for Special K - Red Fruits, I go to Lidl and buy Crownfield Healthy Flakes with red fruits which taste exactly the same as Special K and they are half the price at least.0

My daughter prefers Sainsburys Rice Pops to Rice Krispies. I even bought Rice Krispies by accident one week and she refused to eat them (she's 19!).
Sainsburys chocolate digestives are gorgeous too!0 -

Some industry insider knowledge for you all - Weetabix also makes own label Weetabix so don't bother with the branded stuff.
Tesco Malted Wheats are just as good as Shreddies, it's all about the marketing.
All the cereal companies except Kellogg's make the own label varieties, so most of the time you'll find the quality is pretty much on par.0 -
My family also runs on cereal. DS(4) will eat 4-5 small bowls of cereal for breakfast each day!!
Recently we've pretty much swapped to Aldi's own brand. I find the Rice Krispie substitutes are a little less sweet than Kelloggs, so I prefer these. The Shredded Wheats were so popular that the box only lasted a day! There is a Honey Hoops clone which the children like a lot too. I'm currently hooked on the Luxury Fruit and Nut Muesli and the Orchard Fruit Benefit cereal. You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0
