Glad to see you haven't let the pm-ing idiot get to you, vc. :A:T
In fact I have now come on especially to give your advice a go as my pc is driving me mad. I think I may have to post on the techy board as well for some general pc advice. Not only have I not been able to print from Couponnet since the problems started, but since yesterday we have suddenly encountered a lot of computer problems!
I thought while tackling all the problems on my pc (XP) I would try to follow your advice re Couponnet and see if I can install Firefox instead of our usual IE7 which isn't working properly, and at least get Couponnet working, maybe.
The IE toolbar and some others have suddenly disappeared, there is no writing at all on the blue bars top & bottom of the screen, there are no tabs. This has never happened before.
I can't delete at all within a webpage (I can only backspace when I need to put something right!). I can't copy or paste in or from a webpage (right click generally doesn't work at all within this post, for instance, but it will work to copy and paste a URL onto a word doc?!).
Broadband Medic won't help me, it says 'error'. System Restore gives me lots of bold dates to try but none of them will restore successfully. You can tell I'm not techy at all can't you? :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon-mad....you may have picked up a virus ...run your anti-virus software before trying anything else...or download avast anti-virus free from hereIt's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

aalank, it sounds like the computer is sending the documents to the print queue, because it doesn't realise the printer is there!
Can you print a test page to it?
Try uninstalling the printer and re-installing with the correct driver, and ensuring it is set as default printer.:beer:It's nice to be nice .....

Thanks for the reply vc, I think we do have a virus. We did have AVG but not happy with it really so had decided to try something else. But I just tried and can't download avast (blank white page when I try to download it beyond the first link page).
And whilst typing this I just now got a pop up box appear out of the blue saying 'to use certain characters you have to download the appropriate language pack' (Japanese!). !!!!!!?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Failing this, if you have access to another PC, download a bootable anti-virus such as http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_bart_cd.html and run it on the infected PC.It's nice to be nice .....

Have confirmed it's IP addresses being blocked by bricksmicrosite...was able to print all mocs on couponnet no probs since having laptop, printed Aunt Bessies no probs...but was unable to print any new mocs that were directed via links to ''bricks'' that came in emails( Birds Eye etc)...took laptop to daughters house and logged on to grandsons internet access and all mocs printed no probs...underneath the mocs it is clearly stated in RED CAPS...IP address is ** ** ** ** etc and that is has been logged as having printed the coupon.I've been trying to download Active X as I thought that was the problem as when I check through all my internet options Windows Vista does say it does not allow use of Active X and cannot set security an lower than 'medium' ...have been checking and unchecking boxes but still not been allowed to enable Active X, have googled and found scores of posts with users saying same thing...so now I know it's not just me...so looks as though I'm printing elsewhere, at least my laptop is portable and I'm able to call regularly to print 'em...daughters house is about 500 yards from my fave Tesco...and I have a key!!!She has her own internet access so won't be stopping her use of printing mocs, which she very rarely does anyway as she has 'home delivery' and grandson has a business connection....0
