Ok, here goes.... with regard to Couponnet- have tried absolutely everything, but still no joy  Are people able to get it going again with Vista-the furthest we can get to is the coupon web page saying `printing has been unsuccessful, click here to try again` Any help/advice would be gratefully received, please!

Normally all files are safe after a system restore, if you installed "incredimail" after the restore date, they may not be though!
It is always a good precaution to back-up any files you wouldn't want to lose.

edit....This will tell you how to back-up incredimail files

For the last few weeks I have to system restore every time I log on otherwise I can not get onto the internet and wondered if it is IE 8 update that is causing the problem and what if anything I can do to cure the problem:confused:
The same problem happened to me ages ago and I now recognise the problem as when all is well the message at the bottom says 'downloading from site' and I can see that things are happening otherwise it says 'looking for talktalk' and sticks there with nothing happening - I was told by t/t technical dept that after updates sometimes IE/Windows will not recognise my provider and their firewall blocks the connection . It used to take about 10 minutes to system restore but it took an hour today/yesterday to restore and I am thinking of just logging off in future and not turning off the computer as it is soul destroying when it happens every time and by the time I get online I do not have much computer time left if any at all:mad: as i am time limited- I know it isn't very green but also wondered if it is safe to leave the computer on all of the time:eek:
I thought about removing IE8 as I read that it then reverts to IE7 but when I restore back before the IE8 updates all that happens it that it re-installs even when I elect not to receive updates - they install themselves automatically the next thime I turn off/ on:mad:
Any ideas anyone please :o also I have a Vista Premium upgrade disc that I have been too nervous to put on the comp :obut if that would cure the problem I will give it a go:eek:as my secuirty package runs out soon so will have to uninstall anyway soon to put new security on - might just get rid of comp anyway then no probs at all:rotfl::rotfl:will miss you all though:A thanks to anyone who can help/suggest anything (other than chucking the bloomin thing out of the window)

If you have read FAQ's at the beginning of this thread and also on the main coupon thread, you will already know what I am going to say.....load Mozilla Firefox, set it as your default browser and ditch Internet Explorer.

I did load it a while ago under your instruction and then when I restored I lost it:mad: and got a bit nervous about downloading from just anywhere as I worry about sites I have never heard of in case they are bogus and contain viruses:o I know you techies can recognise them but I can't and a friend of mine whose son works in IT and is supposed to be really really good had his bank account raided a year or so ago due to a virus (or at least that was what the bank told him) so it has made me rather fearful and to be honest I flicked throught the facts rather reading all through so I must have missed that part, will read all through when I have enough time
Thanks for answering I really appreciate it:A
