It can be quite high earning.
In SE London I knew of a few who charged white van men a set fee to cover their vans with art.
This became a very profitable business.
White Van Men were getting fed up with amateur 'tags' (not art, but sqiggles;an individuals marks...like a human paw print saying I was here) spoiling their vans.
The squigglers didn't dare deface the proper graff art work so left the vans alone.
A few years back, most odd job men were driving around SE London in very colourful vans.
Don't know what the customers thought but it didn't affect their businesses in any way.Re the Brentford project, if I wanted to see anything that depressing on tv I would watch Eastenders or any other soap. What a surprise the money has run out??
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -
I really thought the ending was going to be that the pop group moved in to the twin houses but then had a forced sale/ repo.
Hope their singing is better than their project management.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Next week's looks fun!
but, and even two in this must be the quote of the series; Welsh maisonette/basement flat guy "They are worth more; but the market says not". Ermmm....
If only we had done it 2 years ago etc etc etc. You did it at the wrong time, tough. But Beeney gets a programme from the misery.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -
Property Ladder/Snake will be much more interesting once the market bottoms out and if there is no HPI for a good while. It'll then show how much profit people actually make because of their "work". It's as pointless during a crash as it was during a boom, it's funnier and makes better TV during a crash though.0

Next weeks looks fun - one group find a pool in the basement - and not one left by the previous occupants for swimming in!

Foreigners, just cannot understand the English preoccupation with living vertically.
Even our cousins in USA are happy owning some luxury condo of thousands of sq feet rather than buying a tall thin house.
I would always buy a terraced house over a flat. Less noise but mainly its your "castle" provided you pay the council tax and mortgage.
No hassle with committees and service charges and shortening leases that make it unsaleable to anyone except for someone wanting to dump a secure
tenant.
Perhaps it is running up and down the freehold stairs that keeps us fit.Can you PM that to me? :shhh:

Stuk.
There is nothing like a bit of "tanking" for upping the budget.
Do we all find the new "multiquote" button a fun innovation? It as easy as 123.0 -
