Speaking of which, I have forgotten to write or post a card. I am a Bad Daughter. What's even worse is that I panicked last week because I'd forgotten and was delighted to get this week as a reprieve and STILL didn't get it out on time.

I had forgotten to send FIL's card until yesterday - he is in France, but hopefully he will get it on time. Last time I had to send the IL's something, it got there within 24 hours, and yet if I send a card to someone in the same city as me it takes 2 days !

I bought a card. The English-language selection is woeful but I managed to find one with a car and a bucket and sponge on the front. Ironic, since in Bavaria it's illegal to wash your car on a Sunday.

It's written and addressed and half stamped (I had two spare 10c stamps and will add the rest at the PO once I'm dressed and out).

morning just had a text from MM dylans still on o2 but doing better she as waiting for a bed but as there are none at the baby unit she discharging herself and going up there today ...
im offically now on my own til sunday x

ooo, I finally told my manager at work! I'm just a bit of a chicken when it comes to situations like that (not b/c am afraid of consequences but just b/c that's how I am), so I'm glad I finally worked up the nerve. Can't wait to tell the rest of my colleagues at our weekly team mtg on Tuesday. I'm officially sick of keeping it a secret!

btw, is it normal to feel a bit woozy/nauseous 1st thing in the morning? it passes about 10 min after I've eaten brekkie but usually right as I'm starting to eat I feel really sick. Never had this pre-preg. Possibly bigger swings in blood sugars or something?

I know, I had that shock myself! I don't know if anyone replied to you as Ive not read past your post yet, but you usually get 2 pairs in a pack, I got mine from Lloyds pharmacy and they were 12.99.

Snoozing like a good 'un He keeps turning his head to the right no matter which way the nurses lay him. He grizzles until they turn him back if he's in a position where he can't turn himself (sometimes they use gel sacks to wedge his head in place). Searching - you'll be fine on your own - your a fab Mum who is perfectly capable. Don't forget we'll all be here should you need to offload - well except for the two hours the forum is going down on Friday - but there is always FB

Elle - Rhys is obviously a child who knows what he likes and how to get it. I love reading about how well he is doing!

horrible day here again. all cloudy, keeps threatening to rain and its really windy. hope its sunny tomorrow when i'm off
