Yay, congratulations on your last day at work Tink! You must be so excited.
Hypno- you definitely need to speak to your GP to see if there is anything they can do. Can you get there today so you don't have to suffer all day.
Tia- thank you for the kind offer, but as it seems that flight socks are the same as hospital compression ones, I can borrow some from family this weekend. Didn't realise they are the same.
Off to work in a mo- only today and tomorrow then I am off for 8 days. I cannot wait- my tired, pregnant body is in need of a week of non-early mornings, lying on a beach snd swimming!

Morning all!
Really struggled to get to sleep last night - Cub was wriggling and kicking in a chinese water torture kind of way ... you think it's all gone quiet then bosh! she did a big one for daddy though when he finally rolled in at 11.30
Even though it wasn't that warm my feet were hot and I hate that! anyone else suffering from hot feet?! I have bad circulation so usually they're either freezing or cool.MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
Girl Cub due 14th September0 -
Horrible muggy weather here - all of me is hot, all the time. OH didn't help, he came to bed and cuddled up to me. I told him to leave me alone cause I was too hot and he started telling me how earth mothery I smelled.
Not what I wanted to hear! And he didn't do the dishes last night. He did move all the stuff from the living room floor onto the sofa in preparation for the piano coming in (next Friday!!!) but did not seem to realise that this takes the sofa out of commission till next weekend, and that I like to sit on the sofa, which is why I bought it. He's moved it all back now, with thoroughly bad grace.
Injection day at the paediatrician's office downstairs. It's been all crying babies since 8am.
Hope you're all well and wonderful!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oh, not very much to catch up on - how am I supposed to fill my day at work :rotfl:
Ml - I'm getting the same kind of treatment, although I though bubs had fallen out with me last night after I bent over to pick something up off the floor and really hurt my bump. He made up for it when I went to bed and has been in pretty much the same mood all morning. He only settled last night after hubby put his hand on my bump and told him it was bed time  I think I'm going to have trouble with him he if keeps things like that up lol
Sami - nice to see you in here. Glad Edgar is doing well, but :doh:about the appointment.0 -
Kids at school and nursery and headache waited till I was just about home before starting. Getting breakfast (roll and links from bakers) then I can take my pills. Taking it easy today, but there is a few things to be done in the house (hoover, quick tidy, washing/drying clothes) but it will be done slowly and with many breaks. Need to do a tesco order too, I am not going to the supermarket.
And naps are out, headache gets so much worse after a nap for some reason. Apart from that I am feeling fineCough is all breaking up too which is good.

Hot feet and pins and needles! Drives me mental! I end up skiddling in the bath at 3am (few cm's of water and you stick your feet in and splash about).0 -
Morning ladies,
Gosh it was quiet on here last night!
I had another bad nights sleep last night, although not much BH, I did get really bad leg cramp again (I haven't had it for the last few months) And each time I was nodding off, it would come back again .
I am waiting in for the boiler repair man today, so we can have hot water again, I expect he won't turn up 'till 5pm anyway.
I have some homemade pastry defrosting, as I found some jars of mincemeat in the cupboard from christmas, so thought I would make some very festive mince pies.
Need to do some googling now to see what to get my dad for fathers day, why are dad's so difficult to buy for?Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

MTW, surely mince pies are the perfect Father's Day gift?
Speaking of which, I have forgotten to write or post a card. I am a Bad Daughter. What's even worse is that I panicked last week because I'd forgotten and was delighted to get this week as a reprieve and STILL didn't get it out on time.
I've already fed and watered the cat and done the dishes. Ooh, and sent OH off to fax a letter to the bank for me, emailed four midwives and organised a bunch of people picking stuff up over the weekend - we have someone exchanging their chocolate for my teabags, someone collecting my German textbooks and someone ridding us of any and all broken computer equipment we can find. The flea market collection lady is going to have to wait. Remaining on my list:
lift wool bag out of steamer trunk so I don't have to struggle when Gail's here
move flea market stuff into a bigger box
move pictures off the back of the sofa so we can sit on the sofa without fear they'll topple off on us
