So we will both be on a learning curve this time! It will be lovely to shop in the pink aisle but I cant say I am looking forward to the teenage years with a girl, its getting hard enough with a boy and he is easy enough apart from the grunting and the new interest in girls that is freaking me out!

    MBM x

The teenage years scares me already as i know what i was like.I know what you meant about the grunting Kevin and Perry eat your heart out !

Finding out that I was having a girl brought up issues from my past which i initially found hard to cope with. Things like my father not being around for me , etc and I know that my daughter will have a brilliant caring dad (this is a new partner), jealousy i suppose but in a nice way. Theres not alot of people that understand where im coming from saying that but i suppose after having 4 boys , a nusience ex and a absent father i feel very protective of her already.

Is that where people are getting it from? We've had "interesting discussions" on B&B regarding not just this, but all the other foodie guidance doing the rounds (most of which I'm ignoring!)

    On the weekend I had
    A glass of wine
    2 runny eggs
    Medium rare steak

(not all at once though!) Figured once in a while won't hurt and think these things are often aimed at first trimester. I'm almost in 3rd

Saw MW this AM - she is sooooooo lovely :D
BP fine, Heartbeat good and strong, Measuring bang on 26 weeks MW impressed that I have no problems and feel great! Got my HiPG form which I need to send off - she asked me the date and I said June so she wrote my due date as 22 June! SHe had to amend it so am hoping that it won't affect claim!
She also gave me a thick file full of money related stuff which I'll look thru tonight. So now got GTT at 28 weeks (2 weeks time) and then back with MW at 29 weeks for routine bloods.
My hospital don't routinely screen for GSB so am going to look into that I think.

Jillie - MW mentioned parentcraft to me today and I said I had booked on at 12 weeks :o she said they do fill up quickly. I just rang the centre where they hold them and booked on.

Tia - hugs to you, hope they don't keep you in too long.
MM - more degunking vibes coming to Dylan!
GISI - good luck at scan! I poo myself when I go to the MW until I hear the HB and I can feel him wriggling like mad beforehadn anyway!!
Suzy - how are you? not 'seen' you for ages!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Don't use your stomach muscles to sit up - roll onto your side, swing your legs over the bed and push yourself up! When I forget to this I get pains and my stomach looks all weird!

    Hi Glam,

    Arrh you noticed! thanks x

I'm o.k ta, I read rather than post,Its the anti social bit inside me !

I've been busy with work and stuff but try to keep up! It changes far too much on here people give birth to quickly. Slow down ladies plzeeee!!

I'm on annual leave now until mat leave kicks in a week before shes born. Sooo glad I've finished work as it's pretty stressful and I have enough as it is at home looking after 5 boys (4 plus one partner!)

Hows things your end? Btw my HiPG through within 2 weeks I was impressed!
Glad you had wine , steak and so on - I eat what I want too! Common sense used obviously
