Molly - are you on ML now?

Have been wondering how far before to go off (if at all!)

    I don't work - I am a lady of leisure already :o:D

    :eek:I'm due in 12 days!!

It's really frightening now! I keep having dreams about the labour - one was really good because I went in, gave 2 pushes and she was out! I can't wait for that bit to be over!

Hope you are all ok, good luck for tomorrow MM!

I can easily do without food - that's half my problem! I never want food in the morning - just pig out all afternoon and evening then!

Althou I have just eaten half a pack of milk chocolate digestives and I feel a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes coming up for lunch.

    Need to
    Tidy up
Get spare room ready for BIL
    Do some washing
Go food shopping - haven't been yet this month!! :T (OK so I've not actually been home but still!!)
Get my hair cut at 5pm

    Morning ladies & bumps,

I am at home today - we have builders/decorators in to do ceiling/walls in our living/dining room and halls (OH burst a pipe a couple of months ago). Was meant to be here on my own, but OH has come down with a bad cold. He was fevered last night, so taking day off as precaution and because he feels terrible poor soul.

Anyway, I am trapped in my bedroom as the whole house has been taken over by scaffolding!

MM - you must be so excited. I am excited for you! Fasting will be difficult - make sure you have a large meal at McDs tonight!

I can't wait until maternity leave. 10 weeks til I finish work, but have 1 week annual leave in July, so only 9 working weeks. I have 30 days A/L too, and carried 2.5 from last year, so I still have 28 days left! Going to have 4 weeks annual leave and then start maternity leave on my due date, and that still leaves me a few days A/L for the end of my maternity leave next year.

Hubby wants to take his 2 week paternity leave off and then have 2 weeks hol off and have them back to back but work won't let him. may be he should try one week hol but i bet they still will say no. it would be a great help as i prob will be having a section and will have ds to get to school after the xmas hols, It's quite a walk and i won't be able to dive.

The midwife at the hospital said there is no reason for a section she got quite funny as i said i am pushing for one, but she doesn't know my history, she hadn't even read my notes other than the fact i had a section with ds and it's up to my consultant not her. Thankfully hubby piped up i would rather not go though nearly losing my wife and or child again and she shut up lol
    This is my signature!

Fidget - those things are rubbish!!! If you just ate that cereal according to the serving size (which is tiny), you'd be absolutely ravenous by about 10am! Or I would anyway :rotfl:. The best 'cereal' breakfast is either porridge (like ml said) or breakfast plus something else (trying using yoghurt instead of milk and adding a banana!).

On that topic, they did a cool test in the morning newspaper a few weeks back...tested some guy's blood sugar after a load of different breakfasts and see what worked the best for keeping body happy 'til lunch. The winner was porridge/oatmeal of course (especially if you had sultanas/banana/fruit on top) but 2nd place was a full English! :T

My favorite way to eat porridge/oatmeal is with a spoonful of Splenda and a dollop of reduced sugar jam. Fruity and sweet!

Yeah I knew it wouldnt do really, bought it in the vague hope of counteracting some of the effects of the mad eating frenzy I've been experiencing lately. I mean, I'm wanting a dessert after breakfast lol!! I'm afraid porridge is the same - my mind's still in the fridge when I've had that too! Wish some of my cravings were for healthy things though - it's mainly cake and cheese sandwiches for some reason.

Not trying to diet of course just don't want to put 5 stone on and look just fat and not preggers which is what I do now! Am 22wks and still have to tell people I'm pregnant :o

DH isn't taking paternity leave - they only pay the same rate as Mat leave and we couldn't manage on that for a fortnight. He's using some of his hols instead.

Got an appt with MW this afternoon. Got to have more bloods done as they put me on iron last time - I hate it, it makes me constipated!

MM - I am so excited for you :j, enjoy your last day as a pregnant lady (Well for this pregnancy at least ;)!) I would love to have an exact date when my baby will be here - I am soooo impatient!

Pinkpig - not long now for either of us - I would like a "2 pushes" type labour as well though!

Just had a delivery of flowers turn up from one of my lovely sisters for me and bump! :j It is all pink and blue flowers, just to cheer me up - how nice is that!

I said to my mum over the weekend, I don't want to end up starting ML too early and getting bored!!

Mum said that all 5 of her kids were 2 weeks late and all (except me) had to be induced. I came on the day I was supposed to be induced but of my own accord :D

Oh yeah and she has one tiny little stretchmark after 5 kids so genetically I should be OK on that front! Just keeping up with the Bio Oil!!!
