The midwife at the hospital said there is no reason for a section she got quite funny as i said i am pushing for one, but she doesn't know my history, she hadn't even read my notes other than the fact i had a section with ds and it's up to my consultant not her. Thankfully hubby piped up i would rather not go though nearly losing my wife and or child again and she shut up lol
That's pretty rubbish of your hubby's work. I do have sympathy for businesses trying to cope when people are off sick/leave etc for extended periods of time, but it's a shame if they won't come and go depending on circumstances.
My friend was telling me the other day that her OH had 2 weeks Paternity Leave when she had her little girl, but because she had an emergency C-section, they automatically gave him another week off. That's their policy, which I thought was really good!0 -
I know, but the big thing is, when she gets a cold, because of her asthma, it goes into her chest and she can get quite bad, so I am hoping its going to just be a runny nose and nothing too big
Fingers crossed xxxxThe two best things I have done with my life

Had food thinking it would stop the shakes and light headedness, but no, now I feel sick as a dog
Think I'm just going to lie here for a wee while with the ceiling fan going.0 -
One of the midwives who work with the blood pressure consultant (I've had borderline high bp for years) just called to arranged a load of appointments with me but also told me to start taking aspirin every day from now. Is this common?
Argh, I don't want to mess the thread up with medical advice and all that so please no medical advice / opinion, just experience please!0 -

Fitz - it's nice to have some time at the end to get things ready and relax for a bit! Before I left I thought I could have worked longer, but now I'm enormous and find even turning over in bed difficult! But my job inolved a fair bit of walking and carrying.
To be honest, I am getting by on about 2-3 hours sleep most nights at the moment and I have a 1 hour drive to work and then back again. I am just so flaming hot and uncomfortable! So I am wary of how I will cope nearer my due date. Just thought I would rather have the option of finishing earlier and relaxing.0 -
hope its not a cold then MM ... tia i agree ring th docs just to be sure x

Yeah, I've been on 75mg since 12 weeks. Was in the last pregnancy too.
Btw, you can take the dispersible ones in the normal way too (you know, chuck it down your throat). Saved me a fortune when the pharmacist told me that as I'd been buying the oral ones at nearly £3 for 36! The dispersible ones are 99p for 50(now that is money saving).
