Need to stop talking about food! I am starving, but I am stranded upstairs and can't get to the kitchen!!!! I hope they move the scaffolding soon!

OH is going to take 1 week Paternity Leave, and 2 weeks A/L. He may go back after 1 week A/L though, depending on how we are getting on. I am not sure whether it's best for him to be off at the start, or whether it would be better to have a week off when baby is a couple of months older and maybe more reactive etc. I just feel as well that if I am breastfeeding, he might be more involved when baby is slightly older. I have no idea of course, so will play it by ear.

I didn't really push at all, my body just forced Caitlyn out... It would of been easier if the midwife had actually noticed what was happening instead of telling me to blow through the contractions... I really should do my birth story!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

elasti, did you see my post 3 weeks ago about being told I shouldnt be having a section?? 36 weeks of this is the way to go and then all of a sudden, we dont know why you are having a section, we think you should have a trial of labour first and see how it goes !! Well after a day of thinking, I told them I was sticking to what I had been told all along, Last time was bad, so me and Chris decided to make this birth as un traumatic as possible !!

SM dont think I will be treating myself today, going to grab a cafe lunch and then take Jas out, and I will try and have an early night, but relly I think I just need to kep myself occupied today :) MIL is convinced I am going to go into labour tonight as I know what is happening tomorrow !!!

I am starting my mat leave on my due date too!!! If I feel ok, I may work later rather than taking annual leave, but I have so many holidays that I figured it would be nice to just "do lunch" with friends for a few weeks!! ha ha.

Fitz - it's nice to have some time at the end to get things ready and relax for a bit! Before I left I thought I could have worked longer, but now I'm enormous and find even turning over in bed difficult! But my job inolved a fair bit of walking and carrying.

Elasti, you do what make YOU feel comfortable. For me that is avoiding a section, but then my bad birth was a section. Totally opposite but I will push for my vaginal delivery even if I am to be induced. :D

LOL @ the house doctor! Folk in their house saying that the carpet would have to go and the decor and the clutter, and what does the snooty woman who owns it say? 'Listen to that accent, so common!'. Well if she's common what are you with your granny carpets eh? ETA, she has lepord print wallpaper in the bathroom!!!!
