On the plus side, i was never actually sick, and i feel okay now apart from tired so, fingers crossed!

Aha but I was too and it's a boy. Was really really horribly nauseus until 16wks but never sick. With DD I was throwing up left right and centre (mostly along the busy main high street in manchester on my way home from work v. classy!)

If you "feel" different though you might be right as I think your body can give clues to what it is. I've been in no doubt since day one.
  • I didn't have any nausea either - not sure that's much of a predictor?

love that 'there's definitelt something in there'! I was like that - was convinced it had fallen out or something in the early stages as I had no symptoms but then getting the bump was v exciting. OMG there's a BABY in there! DH just rolled his eyes at me!

ml - that's a really great thought! I definitely want to do that and not get too wrapped up in genders for the baby.

Beenie - yay! I knew you would soon feel something!! Isn't it fun! I find myself prodding my abdomen at random times (not in public :p) b/c it makes me feel happy. Now if only it would grow big enough to actually protrude past the fat! :D

    Morning everyone
Feeling a lot better than yesterday, 14 weeks today :T
We are not finding out the sex either but the people that do know are sure it's a boy. Bumped into an old mate at the weekend and he said "Claire i am really trying not to be rude but are you pregnant "!! I did not know what to say as i was not planning on telling anyone till i was at least 16 weeks. Had such a laugh playing the wii i won last night with oh and his brother and new girlfriend, mainly because i whipped oh at bowling :j Aless is you scan is week !!

    Hope everyone is ok
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

Oh my. We just called the hospital to ask about post-natal care and what to bring - and what we need to bring are:

    my insurance details
clothes for me for a couple of days
    a camera
a going home outfit for the baby

and that's all. They provide everything else, and my OH can stay in my private room with me for as long as I'm there.

I'm not leaving Germany till I hit the menopause.
