I am now at the point of just really wanting to know if its a boy or a girl !!!
I have a feeling its a boy, but then part of me keeps calling it her, not sure if that is becasue of Jas, or if its something subconscience that is telling me its a girl !!

i just knew jayden was a boy the same way i knew zoe was a girl and nobody could tell me anything different ... but your bubs could be playing tricks on you :rotfl: x

Oh, you've all gone..

I wanted to tell you about Rhys (ha, when don't I? ) and his first mini-taster of breastfeeding Tonight's nurse said to do proper skin-to-skin and basically hover him level with my nipple and leave him to see what he did.. latch on, occasionally suck and lick, then fall asleep on me, is what he did It's all about trying to teach him where the milk actually comes from rather than just down a tube up his nose and into his tummy!

They've just about got him on two hourly feeds now. Apparently they get him on two hourly, then three hourly, then four hourly, then on demand feeding before going home.. House-trained before he comes home! I am to switch to majority breastfeeding (rather than tube) between three and four hourly. Unfortunately for each increase in feed there's a period of him getting used to it where he's sick a lot and we're going through one of those times at the min

Was shattered when I came back from that visit so had a nap. Just woke up now.. off to the Dairy for me! :rolleyes:

efrieze, nice to see you posting Not that I don't want to hear about you too but I was wondering how your friend is? (the one having trouble with the fact she's having a boy again this time) xx

Morning ladies! Any news from MrsM and mooki?

Today's my last Tuesday meeting before mat leave starts, but I'm having quite painful pickles and we've no hot water so I can't shower (the gas guys stayed late last night because of the kids and the pregnant lady in the building, but the doctor who works in an office downstairs left at 8pm after being asked to stay till 9 so it's not done yet). I'm considering sending my apologies, I'm not really essential or useful in the meeting and not to be subtle about it, I stink.

Other than that, hopefully we'll get hot water by 11 or so because today is a baby shower for us! And then I'm hanging out with a friend who's just got pregnant and is having troubles, then another friend is coming over. I'm so excited that we're at the point we can invite people over and not be really embarrassed. The Filth Fairies seem to have been in this room overnight though, and why are my OH's pants on the floor?
