Aw thanks so much searching, your post made me cry. Has helped me loads and will try to think of that whenever the doubt creeps in x0

Isn't it interesting the way some of us have such strong inclinations or feelings for one sex or another... though I've got so used to talking about 'her' now I think I'd be totally thrown if Cub turned out to be a boy, even though that was what I wanted. Am glad I found out so I could get into this new mindset rather than at the birth itself! I definitely needed a couple of days just to think about what I wanted and why and then realised that that had nothing to do with the baby I was actually carrying - IYSWIM!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
Girl Cub due 14th September0 -
I want a boy - i don't really 'do' girls. But i'm sure that's just because i've never had a girl.
I'm trying to convince myself of the positives of having a girl at the minute, but i still want a boy more0 -
DS1 was a boy, no doubt about it. DS2 was a parasite, though he was a girl because the pregnancy was so different, but he was a boy. And this one was a girl from the moment I found out. I just knew.0

anytime chick ... try not to worry at the end of the day you'd be suprised how just one glance at him will make all doubt melt away x

We're not finding out ahead of time, but I honestly do really want a girl. I know I would be okay if the baby came out a boy and like searching, the minute he was placed on me I would just love him no matter what, but right now I find it really hard to imagine a little boy...I don't know why!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

With DS i was convinced it was a boy, i told everyone it was a boy and looked at boys clothes, him not being a boy was never even a thought, even when i went to the 20 week scan and was told he was a boy i was happy, but not surprised.
Not sure why either as he was my first and i had nothing to compare with, but this time even the mw has said it's probably a girl because i've had nausea and didn't with DS
On the plus side, i was never actually sick, and i feel okay now apart from tired so, fingers crossed!0 -
I'm starting to get my bump! :T I can definitely feel something there now, and sometimes when i lie in bed my belly feels firm and definitely like there's something in there! I keep prodding, it's definitely sprouted from nowhere in the last few days.0

Thanks, really, you don't know how much just "hearing" that helped!
See searching, it just goes to show that you are still needed on the pregnancy board!0 -
Beenie - I tried to think of it as not 'having a boy' or a girl - those are just ideas we have, types, but rather to focus on the baby I was carrying (like imagining the scan pic or something) - when I did that I found that it was difficult to hold onto those ideas, because they are more about us and not the fault of the little sprog inside us. I found it helped anyway though it probably doesn't make any sense written down!!!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
