Free Microsoft Software for personal use (Excludes Visual Studio)
THIS HAS NOW EXPIRED
you will need the following information: First name, last lame, street address, city/town, state, postal code, email, and contact phone number. You'll obviously need a valid address if you wish to get CD/DVD media, but otherwise you can use any for the direct software downloads.
Once that's all well and done, you'll need to do a few more things before you have a wealth of freebies within your grasps:
1. Sign In: Visit the TechNet Subscriptions Benefits Portal (you may be prompted to re-sign in using your Windows Live ID).
2. Register: You will be required to enter your first name, last name, e-mail address (exactly as they appear in your "Ship to" information) and Benefit Access Number: XXXXXXXXXX and accept the license terms.
3. Access Benefits: Once you have completed the registration, you will be able to access your online benefits, including Subscriber Downloads from the TechNet Subscriptions Management page. Each time you visit you will sign in using your Windows Live ID.
Please note the limit on cd-keys available so far is 300 for each product. So for example you can generate 300 Vista Ultimate/ Office 2007 keys.
This is from microsoft and the subscription will run out in approximately 3 months (but the license is full) so its best to get the software now.

Thanks...it's HTTPS rather than HTTP...
Am I missing something? This really does look like a 3 month trial of the technet service....Are the keys generated expected to last beyond the 3 months? This is like christmas
ThanksUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
Yup this is legit, the subscription is for 3 months, basically till before Windows 7. The CD-Keys will last for life though. I have already tested the Windows 2003 key this morning.0

I'd recommend that everyone gets on board and downloads the DVDs with the integrated service packs for Vista and XP at least, saves having to resort to something like nlite to do it.0

Normally I'd scoff at threads like this but I can confirm it's genuine. Thanks!0

I'm getting the same issue now, I think that microsoft is struggling to keep up with demand, just keep trying is your best bet0

I cant even load the page, just says server not found.0

The full key list just appeared for me, but some require more creation. Still can't complain, fuller than the old Action Pack, and free for 3 months!0

I haven't looked at the link itself but surely with Technet the licenses are only valid whilst you have a technet subscription?0
