My DD (11) has been asking 16 year old DS for the last 4 years when he is leaving home lol.

Does she even *want* his room? Maybe she is attached to her little room?

Maybe your DD could ask DS for the room? It'll be easier to take coming from his sister.
HTH and good luck x
A good idea. Though if my brother had asked me when I was away at uni for less than a year I would have dissagreed. I knew I'd be coming home after uni though. However, if I'd have moved away on a permanent basis it would be ok.
It's still upsetting for me to feel like I have been completely disregarded in the decision to throw me out of my room. I feel unwelcome to this day.Looking forward to the future.0
