I'm from Aberdeen and when my friend from North England was up, we stayed over at my mums for a night, when we left he asked me who "ken" was and why we talked about him so much.

    Do you ken Ken?
There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

haha, i used to live in Aberdeenshire (near The Broch). Now i live in Orkney - for a while i did wonder why there's a section in the local paper called 'Kent Faces' :o

i absolutely love Scotland, but only know the North-East and Orkney (which isn't really Scotland ;))

We have some great words up here that can mean a few things... and words that can take the place of whole sentences.

E.g. Ahm moggered - I'm feeling really rather tipsy at the moment, old chap.

Ooh, dips - you should watch parliamo glasgow :rotfl::rotfl:
