There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

So as long as you live in Scotland, you can use their universities free.

All that says is for those who live there.. or not living there. It doesn't go into detail.

I'm English and I live in Edinburgh:
    • Its much colder
    • Most people are nice, some aren't (just like home)
    • The water tastes funny (apparently its cos London water has floride added - which bizarrely I miss)
    • The winters are long and hard
    • Edinburgh is as multicultral as London
    • Its cold (did I mention that)
    • The buses are cheaper, so are the houses (though not much)
    • People do drink more - its not a sterotype, I've seen loads more drunks on buses, in the gutter and asleep on park benches than I ever did at home - of course they may all be English!
And if you live in Edinburgh, you'll wonder who the hell 'Ken' is and why everyone keeps talking about him!!

No, it is free for all Scottish kids but for English ones choosing a Scots Uni still have to pay.

However if your kids are raised here then they would then qualify:cool:

And Clydebank is a lot better than it used to be

Fife and Edinburgh accents are quite hard for me sometimes (and yes its all about that man 'ken'!), I understand most Glasgow ones (common or posh or even fake posh!) but thats cos I hail from Lanarkshire. Orcadian accents stumped me for a while, and Shetland ones still do sometimes. I like Inverness accents as they are defined but not hard to understand. Western Isles accents are melodic in a strange way!
Scottish weather can be bad but because many parts of Scotland are so beautiful (and even if you live somewhere not so nice its never far to a nicer view) it is amazing in nice weather.
This said I am sure there are many lovely places in England that I have yet to visit.
