The best thing is all the free money we get from the English (but don't tell anyone).
And the worst thing is our neighbours ;).
Only kidding lol my neighbours are seals and fishes, being on a small island in the sea .

And don't forget the different money. You must remember to change it before returning to England though or you will cause all sorts of problems usually involving the summons of a shop supervisor and one Scottish bloke in the queue shouting "Dinnae be daft. It's legal tender." ;)

But it's not legal tender. ;)

    Yes it is :)

OK this will sound completely mental - but surely if you are an English resident, i.e. born in England then can you move to Scotland to go to uni for free??

Uni is free in Scotland if you are Scottish. Pretty sure you cant just move here and get a free place.

Sorry Fifer, I though I made that clear in the title. From England to Scotland. Laws are different there and many things are different from what I have gathered over the years, but never needed to fully understand.
You didnt make anything clear, it really depends where you live and what expectations you have.
We live on a farm here and hate the city, We would very happily live in rural Scotland but would hate to live in Glasgow, Endinburgh or any of the other majors just as much as I would hate to move to London, Birmingham or Manchester (again)
It is a fairly big place is Scotland, and very beautiful.
The weather is cooler and less likely to be sunny than dahn Sarf.
So really it depends where the move is to and that location will define exactly 'how' different Scotland will be
I would like to live in Theory, because everything works there

I assume that attending Scottish Universities is free for all UK Citizens.
