Huston and Kazwookie – my mum told me last week that eating soup is very good for weightloss. She said even if you cook a normal meal and then put it in the blender with a glass of water, it stays in your stomach longer than eating it in the usual fashion and you feel fuller longer and therefore eat less later. Interestink, no?

Hugs Valli sounds like a horrible day. Hope you feel better soon xx

Hugs Viv, hope you are feeling better soon and you Nevaeh

Sarah, when do you start your job? You sound really excited!

Welcome 1 Step Closer, just do what you can. That’s what we all do, just what ever we can manage. Don’t try to do too much to start with or you will get fed up with it – just do a little bit and then next week when that room comes round again it will be easier!

Dusty, hope you feel better soon but you did make me laugh! I’m not surprised you are in a bad mood if hot chocolate was spilt on your bag and phone and everything – that would put me in a bad mood too!

I had a great sleep and woke up feeling much better.

DH is going to do a roast tonight to use up the two pork joints that are in the freezer so that I can cook the pork steaks in the fridge and then freeze them. I have a recipe that I’m going to, but haven’t been able to cook them cos no room in the freezer! He’s out looking at a job at the mo, and then is going to get a few bits of shopping. Spose I’d better stick the joints in the microwave to defrost…and do some more flying!

I'm going to start some washing, wash up, clean the skirting board in the kitchen, and then see how I get on

I've been waiting for a friend to call as we were going out for the afternoon. She ALWAYS lets me down but i've known her most of my life so i've put up with it. Anyway, she was supposed to phone me at 1 and still hasn't so I decided to start on DS's room as he's away until tomorrow and then away with school for two days. So far i've thrown out one bin bag full of 'stuff'. I feel SO SO SO much better for chucking stuff out especially as it's not mine!:rotfl:My husband always says i'm dangerous when i'm bored!

I really want my friend to phone now and i'm going to tell her i've had enough!! I'll be very polite though! :rotfl:.

I'm going to browse the net and watch yankee candles on QVC - i'm not going to buy any though! Promise xx
    xx
    Happy shopping :p
Unless she has a good excuse for leaving you stranded it sounds as if you should pull the plug.
You cannot be expected to waste an afternoon waiting for her to phone.

If you found a post helpful you can 'thank' it by pressing the thanks button on the bottom right hand side of the message box. Some people thank the posts on the flylady thread so they know where they're up to. You don't have to though!

Welcome to the thread by the way! xx

Personally, neveah, since the upgrade I click first unread and get 'shoved' to the end anyway - it helps me backtrack so I now also do it on other threads I'm a regular on.
