Back from football, finally stopped raining.

I need to do some gardening but not sure I can be bothered.

    oh I feel so low...
probably because I am trying to cheer up Ds while talking him through 'getting gf back' steps - sensible stuff like not saying anything he would regret and suggesting he doesn't over pressure her. I'm guessing her parents are also suggesting she makes the break longer - probably not a bad idea.
Met a lady I knew at toddlers in town. She had cancer, chemo, the lot now has diabetes and to cap it all her mum who lives away, has alzheimers, has a disabled lodger living with her so she was telling me all about that and the problems she has.

    A real down day.

I'm in Stowmarket, so about half an hour from Felixstowe. Where abouts are you?

I also like the fabric shop in Bury St Edmunds, except it's a bit more expensive, and you can't get the scraps and bits & bobs that I like getting from Felixstowe.

I have to say, I was quite surprised to see Felixstowe mentioned on here, I don't really know why cos it's quite a large place! It's nice to think that some of you are quite close really! :D

Never been to the fabric shop in Bury, so can't comment. I'm in Ipswich on the east side but my step daughter lives in Stowmarket and step son in Needham Market

Had been planning to be going out by now but my chest is hurting so I think I'll take some painkillers and wait til they start to take effect.

Kaz, I would love to have a meet up

To the Norfolk and Suffolk people...I'm in Lowestoft so if you organise a meet I would love to come if newbie flyers are allowed...as long as it's somewhere I can get to by train.

Kaz - where are you in West Norfolk? Anywhere near Burnham Deepdale/Market? Deepdale is my favourite place in the world and we camp/hostel at Deepdale Farm several times a year - in fact we got married there two years ago!

I've done something very stupid and it means my little trip out to get fabric is out. I was bending down under the table to retrieve a paper pattern for a bag, I'm making and I fell. I think I have pulled a ligament or something behind my right knee. Took a while to get up and I sat for a while resting it but it still really hurts. Don't think I dare drive the car with it like that.

Bunglegirl - I'm in King's Lynn :o and work at Bircham Newton so about 10 mins from Burnham Market. Its a lovely stretch of coast up there but you dont appreciate your own area.

We've just come back from Kessingland! and my brother's in Lowestoft, we're going back to the same campsite for a week from 18th July so will catch the Lowestoft air show :D

viv - we'll definitely sort something but we'll have to look at the map to see where is best if Paupers interested too, I know Lilysue said she was.

Need to do some more flying but actions always slower when OH here

    Hugs viv
