Morning ladies
Havent been in since Wednesday although I have been trying to read the thread while at workbut cant remember who to respond to
.
Thursday was my mums 70th birthday and we had a great evening for her with all the family together and she was over the moon with her This is your life' photobook I did for her. Yesterday wasnt such a good day, hadnt slept all night as waking every hour so had a thumping headache and felt sick - I think its the stress of the next week so am taking kalms to try and prevent a panic attack - any other remedies please let me know. So last night I came in from work, slept ate tea then bathed and an early bed.
Hence the 430 up this morning, I was going to post then but thought you'd all think I'd gone mad :rotfl:. WM and DW were put on then!
Todays plans are to despatch OH into town with DD to which his response was 'arent you coming I thought you liked to shop' well yes I do but I have a whole weeks flying to do and I'd rather not be tempted to spend any money as we could have none in just over a weeks time .
So a quick shower for me then I will start one days list at a time then report back.
Just one mention this morning for AnW's mum, Miss A and W - I hope you all have a day filled with fond and wonderful memories and have ajust in case you need one.
See you all laterMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Good morning everyone.
Had a quiet night shift and no disturbances. One of my colleagues told me this morning the boss and her two cronies are on biscuit watch. The boss has actually counted them and asked the others to keep an eye. I just laughed and said it gets worse. I cant see a problem there is always loads. I pointed out that as we do not get tea breaks or lunch breaks as we have our breaks and meals with the clients we can have whatever we fancy. I think they need to get a life and think about more important things. Its sad really.
Laughed at the teaspoon research. We seem to manage to keep them at work its pens that dissapear.
Going to see mum this morning then meeting DD to do some shopping. By then I will be ready to have a couple of hours sleep.
Macgirl Welcome
AnWsMum and A & W Will be thinking of you today. Big hugs for you all.
Soappie, greenbee, froddy and sexymouse Have a lovely time on your walk.
greenbee I would not mind joining you in trying to lose a stone. I do walk a lot, to see mum DD etc and to the hospital. At work we walk about 3 to 4 miles in a 12 hour shift. Will have to stop eating those biscuits at work lol. Just need a bit of support and encouragement to exercise and eat properly. I really want to lose it before Im 60 next month.
Will do a quick S&S before I go out.0 -
Rosepink, love the idea of a spork! DH is breeding forks by borrowing them from work to eat his lunch and popping them in his lunchbox afterwards, then they end up our cutlery drawer. Every half term I give him about 20, with instructions to return them, ot noone at his work will be able to eat anything. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
valli in a household where noone clears plates into the composting pot, and clears the teaspoons in also, so you later find the teaspoons in the compost heap, I'm sure you are right and the domestic ones do have a longer half-life...Your boy is very lucky that you are making an effort to teach him these important relationship skills. I bet he grows into a lovely chap.
soappie how is the girl BB? fully recovered from her op and looking forward to walkies I hope. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Have a great meet up guys!!!! Enjoy the walk.
Greenbee thanks for that. I think I want to invest in a really good one. The budget ones never seem to work properly.
Just spent a fraught hour or so sorting out childcare arrangements for work. I've never had to think about it before!!! alarming!! Anyway, all sorted now, right the way through to the start of the autumn term.*phew*

Hi,
I hope you all have a good walk.
Since my last post i've had a shower, got dressed , put the washing machine on and tidied my bedroom a bit. Ds2 has been playing in here and i was starting to get a bit of a floordrobe again.
I need to get Ds2 dressed ( for some reason he's insisted on walking around naked all morning). Then i have to do my dailies, make lunch and make some sandwiches for this afternoon. If there's any time left i'll do Ds2's room.0 -
Right - my washing is in the line, the sun is still out so hoping it will dry!
Off to meet the other now - have a good day all x"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
