I'm up from my nap - have had my 4pm meal - chicken and rice leftover from last night. I'm feeling a bit more energetic as a result. Cant think what to give DH for dinner - I know what I fancy, but I don't think he will. I will ask him when he gets in. ETA: he doesn't want any dinner

We have had 3 calls from people wanting quotes today - altho one of them didn't know that's what she wanted! She said: "I want my patio pressure washed...could he give me what's the word..." so I said: "a quote?" and she said: "No, I want him to tell me how much it will be!" So I said he would call her back! ETA: just spoken to him he said he will give her an estimate, and not a quote!

This evening I plan to: start cleaning the bathroom, wash up, and put away my floordrobe

With considerable amounts of will power - this grey drizzly weather saps my energy....DS2 keeps falling asleep too (he came back yesterday from his GCSE history trip to Wales, totally shattered, and I wasn't able to wake him up this morning!)

I've also pottered a bit in each room, as a general thin layer of abandoned belongings seems to have drifted all through the house - the joys of teenagers. What I usually call 'Relocation, Relocation...';)

We are off to Newport on Monday for the same day passport service for DS. The stupid bank would accept his provisional driving licence for the mortgage but not for the bank account they need to open to go with it!
