Happy friday everyone, still got the lurg, still feel like a blob of jelly.
Still in bed.....rang in sick again.
Today I need to
post a letter to credit card company.
...........and some other very important stuff that I appear to have forgotton........peri menopausal x poorly sick vacant head is not a good mix.:o
Anyways, car fixed, motted and taxed, all in all it cost what I paid for the car, so a very expensive week.
Having had a think about what needs decorating, carpetting, fixing and replacing in our house I am overwhelmed and crushed by the enormity of it all and feel we'll never get a 10th of it done and will always be destined to live in a sheethole.
I really really think we need to move somewhere else thats 'done', I cannot kid myself that I am motivated or really that interested in decorating or 'home making', its not in my psyche.
So there.:pDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

BTW I never did do the third coat in the hallway or landing or complete the job so there are holes and patches of badly painted wall and ceiling everywhere.....and I have one of those dulux paint machine systems so there's no excuse really

It is impossible to think positively when you are feeling carp.
When you feel stronger how about baby steps and concentrate on one area at a time rather than doing bits in each part of the house?0 -
triker - I know exactly where you are coming from, our house has no doors or skirtings and several rooms have no flooring, we did so much when we first moved in that we are now out of money and motivation, on the plus point i did paint every room so that doesnt need doing. I have been pottering in the garden the last couple of months as cant face the house at the mo.
Off to the hairdressers, library and mr A's, see you all later0 -

I'm thinking I'm going to concentrate on Wednesday for my star, mainly because it's my smallest list. I don't know what the weather is going to be like this weekend although I'm hoping it will be good so DH can take the boys out from under my feet and I can get on with it
If not, they'll just have to deal with it, I Want That Star!!!!
Dishes are still up to date
and put away too
DH coming home tonight :j

Funky Friday - Brats rooms, spare rooms or wherever! Done
I did this on Wednesday so am in front. I have, however, cleaned every window in the house, moved out the dishwasher, washing machine & fridge and cleaned behind them  and washed all the ornaments and light fittings :T0 -
BungleGirl - enjoy lunch with MiL. You're actually doing well for just starting out.
Triker - hope you feel better soon. Crafty wrote some very wise words.
Boddy - well done on the positive feedback. Hope you have a peaceful night shift
Phoned the tax office - seems you need to make an appointment these days. You can't just stroll in on spec. Things seem so complicated nowadays - takes you hours to get through to anyone and then days to see someone.
In the end, I phoned the mortgage people and asked about his provisional driving license (photo type). And yes, it's acceptable. Hurrah! :j
I can now get on with the day. I have put my bedding in the washing machine and now need to go and find something to eat - I'm starving!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
