haven't had chance to catch up since left work but kazwookie just walked in on DD2 having s3x with boyfriend!!! I went back round the corner corner, told her what was for tea and did she want some. she said yes and asked boyfriend if he wanted some tea. He could hardly answer as he was that embarrassed!! We were laughing like nueen open. She's 19 at the end of the day. And we have always bin open, DD1 has walked in on us before now. Said to him that I bet he doesn 't go home till we are in bed, but he was bitting the pillow in embarrassment, but hey ho it's a natural thing.
Bet Laura (DD1) sits at kitchen table for her tea and he will be in her room under the covers!!
    Hugs to all xx

:rotfl: Can I juat make it clear, it was not me who walked in on them, but I think carlsberggal means she walked in on her daughter!!

The daughter in the other thread, has she thought how her brother arrived?? :rotfl:

Summermoon~~~ I DID pack OH 'stuff' in bin bags and put them inthe loft, about 5 months ago, he STILL has not looked at it!!

Well, I finished for the day!!! I'm going to have a soak in the bath I think I deserve it, my plants are all sing in harmony, especially the six cactus plants, I haven't watered them since we moved in (last Sept) OH was saying to me the other day that just because they can tolerate the dessert, doesn't mean that I should neglect them. I put some extra soil in with them as well today, so I may end up killing them as they not use to being looked after.

My little boy (3) has been very helpful today, he did some dishes (although I did have to re-do them and he soaked himself, the floor and the chair - but he had fun)

He also helped me do that 5 min carry bag dash around the house, we put his favorite song and he was off, running round looking for rubbish, bless him.

He kept asking me "what can my helping hands do next, mammy?", so the skirtings and dusting have been done twice.

I've been just about keeping up, but I'm not really up to posting much at the moment.

I had a great day yesterday - 5 mile walk in the morning, a few bits of work during the day, then an 8 mile walk near Guildford (Peaslake, taking in Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill, so lots of up and down!) with a friend in the evening. Got back late and tired, but still managed to get up for the gym this morning.

Work went OK this morning... but we had urgent briefings this afternoon with HR. Preparation for briefing our teams on Friday when the new organisation and roles are announced (my team is combining with another, which we knew, but they're halving the number of people, which we didn't), as they're going to be going through a selection pool process. The manager of the other team and I have both been told that we haven't been mapped to anything, so we have to apply for any of the roles made available on Monday.

It should all be over by the time I go on leave on the 26th - but I really don't want to have to put my team through this.

Any suggestions as to what my new career should be would be welcomed, as I don't think I'm likely to be successful in the recruitment process (I hope not... I don't want to have to stay ;)). If I'm lucky, I'll be paid to take the summer off, so I'll have a bit of time to decide!

Thanx all for the hugs and stuff. I am goin to let it be known that he starts keeping his clutter cleared away or else it gets binned. I'm also going to do a housework rota thingy.

OR I could just go on strike.... but that wouldnt be fair on the kids!!!

    BungleGirl - welcome

juliejim - I'm sorry but that did make me giggle!

AnW and SS - thanks for the update on Toots; continued hugs and prayers for her

jo - thank you; a lovely thought

michelle - am glad you've been signed off for a while. Your school sounds very unsupportive - there are much better schools out there with management who will help and support you both personally and professionally. And there's nothing wrong with taking ADs so try not to worry about what other people think (I know it's hard to do that, having been there!) Hugs x

Triker - hugs; hope you're not feeling too yuck

rosepink - love the story; shocking though!

poohbear - hugs for your DD; hope she is ok

    SummerMoon - hugs

    tia - hugs for DH

huston - well done to DS

    Rant Alert!!!

 so-called friend has just text me - all it says is 'howz u?'

    Rant Over!!!

    Might read the paper now

Ohh, that's near where I live. Where did you park and where did you go? I might like to try a little bit of it, probably won't manage the whole 8 miles straight away!

Hugs about work btw, it's horrible when you know people are going to lose their jobs.

Hugs to Tia’s DH what a scary thing

That reminds me I saw a police car today with about 6 policemen and women standing round it all laughing and joshing with one another. How odd.

Hugs Jinky, we are all very sympathetic here if you want to talk. Hope it sorts itself out soon

I am going to wash up now - I've put if off for too long! Was reading that other thread. Glad I dont have a 14 year old daughter!

ETA: Frodders, ignore her. Maybe she feels guilty now about what she's done to you, but just ignore her. She doesn't deserve your time or friendship. If she apologises to you and sorts her life out that's different, but if she tries to carry on like nothings happened that stupid
