    off to catch up...

ETA michelle sounds like a good outcome for the short-term. While you are being recommended books, try Bill Rogers' book "You Know the Fair Rule" may help you form some new strategies, and is a warm and funny read to boot. Would send you my copy, but I lent it to a trainee and he liked it so much I didnt get it back!Hugs.

Wednesday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!! Done!!:D:D:D

Up at 6am, as DD going to Thorpe Park with friends, then a day's supply - I am now falling asleep over the keyboard!!

Happy that I can post two days at a time, as I did the living room yesterday and the main bedroom today... I'll do the rest of upstairs on Friday - I'm not working - and as DD has already done her bedroom, that should be quicker and easier than usual!

Huge hugs to michelle - forget altogether about s****l, and enjoy some chill time with your family. Don't worry about your parents - if you had a broken leg, they'd expect you get it plastered wouldn't they? And at the moment, you are not quitting teaching - if you decide to have an extended career break to bring up your boys, then tell them that's what it is. I quit when DS1 was 6 months old because I couldn't bear to be separated from him(and the next two babies).I decided to return two years ago - he's now 19!! You don't have to have quite such an extended break! I would suggest that if you choose a break, keep up with your subject, and what's going on in the world of education. Then, if you want, you can do a returners' course - most authorities run them, and bursaries are paid. I would however suggest that you put any decision on hold for a few weeks - but please don't feel that you're burning all your bridges.

Please can ssl and jjef pass on love and hugs to toots. Jo, that was a really sweet thing to do.

    Must go cook dinner....

Massive, massive, massive, massive hugs summermoon. I really do know how you feel. My DH is brilliant in so many ways but he's THE most untidy person! Luckily he has a study so ANYTHING he leaves out gets shoved in his study and then I shut the door. I told him, very calmly, I was going to do this. I do the same with the children (actually, I call them from whatever they're doing tell them to put their stuff in their room). Voila....my house is tidy (if not always spotlessly clean). Hugs again xx

I love tesco vouchers. DD is having a day out with us and a friend for her birthday. She really wants to go to blackpool pleasure beach which would have cost £200!!! Tesco vouchers saved up and paid for it in full! I'm happy!

S/s taking place before I pick dd up xx

Are we married to the same bloke?
My kitchen is full of his tools and I keep asking if he will empty all his stuff from the little shed into the big shed (that's full of his stuff also) so I can at least move some things into small shed.
My clothes maiden, ironing board and hoover are like ornaments as they get shuffled from room to room.:mad:
