Just to let you all know, Dr signed me off work with orders not to even think about school stuff for 3 weeks. Now i'm just trying to psyche myself up to ring work with that news, and not think about how much i will get slated behind my back for it.
I've got to take ADs and he has referred me for councelling. He didn't think i should quit. He also recommended a book to me for helping me be organised. It was the getting things done book by david allen that i recommended to toots last year. That made me chuckle a bit. I said, No, I've read it and although good, it doesn't make me fel better.
Jo thanks for thinking of toots and organising that. It was lovely to see you pop in
Piggers enjoy your lunch out. Hope your body starts to work a bit better for you soon x
Have a lovely day everyone. I plan on doing not a lot and will probably watch a dvd rental that arrived this morning. Brassed off. Amazingly i've never seen it. DH thought i shouldn't as he said it is sad, but i've promised to not get upset by it.
Michelle x
poohbear thanks for your thoughts. That must have upset you as a parent telling your son that. I would agree with your advice though if he is only just training. Plenty of classes made me want to quit then, but he has to give it a fair go doesn't he. I will have to get round to telling my parents. I haven't so far, but i know my dad will want me to carry on in teaching and my mum will go mad that i have started taking ADs, but i'm 30 so i guess they'll have to live with my decisions.0 -

Hi all I am poorly and car-less so working form home for a day or two.
So it seems I'd best get on and do a little flying but I have some viral thingy, v. sore throat, headache, chest infection and feel very wappy and woozy so I'll not be doing too much.;)
DD1 back from her history exam, she's very matter of fact and stated that 'it's done now, moving on to the next one'....I'm really pleased with her attitude after the uber meltdowns she was having previously re the GCSE's. I honestly think the pressure placed on them by schools is so much worse on the lead up rather than just doing them.
Anyways
Michelle, glad you got signed off hun, hope you recuperate and rest. xxx;)
Toot's thanks to Jo, AnWMum and Sarah for the updates, if you guys get a chance send her my love and best wishes.xx:D
Lady Liberty, enjoy your kittens sweetheart, I honestly don't know what to say re the health issues, I wanted to write a few things but cannot find any 'suitable' words for you, so I'll say this, a great big gigantic squishy hug to you and I hope that you get the right treatment at the right time in order to sort things out for you.
Plus get on that Harley as many times as poss and feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face......you know how good that feels and you deserve to feel as good as possible at the mo. xxx:kisses3:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Michelle, glad the doctor has signed you off. Brassed off is ace, have the dvd, must of watched it hundreds of times. Them playing 'orangejuice' as they call it is fab. Yes it's sad in places but will also have you laughing, which is a cure all in my opinion.
Glad toots ok.

I've done no flying today - been to see Mum. Had a nice time, we went to Nymans. Have decluttered tomato plants from mum's to DH's dad's. Will do washing up etc later - going for a nap now as am tres fatigue
Oh, mum told me the funniest story! My uncle is recovering from a serious brain injury, and one of the problems he is having is lots of anger. He was driving down a road, on the other side of the road were lots of parked cars. Coming toward him, on his side of the road was a woman in a large "tank of a car". She didnt pull into a gap where she could, she just carried on toward him. They couldn't pass each other. He sat there, she sat there. Neither would give way. She got out and came over and said: "When are you going to get out of the way." He pointed to the white line - she was over it, he wasnt so he told her he wasn't moving. She got back in her car. They both sat there staring at each other. Cars came up behind my uncle, realised what was happening, turned round and drove off. The woman got out of the car again. She was crying this time and asked him again: "Are you going to move?" He opened his newspaper and said: "I've got all day my dear!" She got into her car and phoned someone. A while later, a young man in a landrover came up behind my uncle. He went to the woman and tried to placate her. He came to my uncle and was very apologetic. He was the womans husband. She couldnt reverse. She couldnt handle her car, physically unable to reverse it. It had never been a problem before because she drove a big car and everyone had always given way before. The husband got in the car and reversed it all the way up the road so my uncle could pass him. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good job her husband was nearby and could help out isn't it! Imagine if he worked a long way from home or something! They could have been there all week! Fancy having a car so big that you cant reverse it safely! And she needs to learn that having a big car doesnt give you right of way! :rotfl:
