o.k. I feel that I've cheated today, as when I found the thread, I decided to play catch up, but I've already had the bedding on the line so just hovered the bed and all of the upstairs, so I got my level one for today as well:T

pleased I found this thread as I need something to keep me away from the food shops as I cut my budget this month to 250, which is still a lot but considering that it's usually 400.

Can I ask, as I'm new to this, will Wednesday be added to the opening post?

    Regards

    Kelly

You guys are so good to me and everyone else when they need it. Thank you for all your helpful suggestions. I've managed to calm down a bit and stop crying, although i still feel a bit breathless and anxious.

I've started thoroughly planning out my lessons for tomorrow so there is less to do tonight, and i have had some very helpful suggestions. I know i can count on you all to be here to listen to me whatever i finally decide.

I'm going to go and have a bath now i think, and then it will be almost time to pick up the boys and start the evening routine. Thankfully at the last minute i remembered to get out some chicken for dinner. We completely forgot yesterday to get anything out so it ended up being fish and chips. I need to look after the pennies just incase i join the ranks of desperate housewives.

    Enjoy the rest of today.

I'm knackered and still have so much to do today!!! At least i've managed two loads of washing and the food shop. Got to do a general tidy up of the Kitchen and lounge and some ironing then i'll stop i think as its getting way too hot-one cat seems to have given up completely and the other has disappeared so is obviously hiding somewhere. 2 hours til OH returns and distracts me from doing anything so will crack on!!

michelle Its not you its the kids, believe me I should know as I taught secondary for 25
years. Don't let them get you down. Its too hot and that changes their moods and behaviour, so does a windy day. And if it is a class that needs two TAs as well as you there is a very good reason for it. Don't give up because of this, you are a good teacher and most of your classes are fine. Enjoy your boys tonight and don't worry!

Just read some of the other brilliant suggestions. I did supply when my kids were little, then I could decide when and if I wanted to work. Was able to have holidays during school time when it is cheaper, didn't need to worry about being off work when all four had chicken pox, whooping cough etc. When we were strapped for cash I went back full time for a term with three under five and it was okay because it was refreshingly different but other than that I only worked about a third of the time. I did have 4 under five though! Seemed like a good idea at the time! Having four, I mean, so close together.

I have finished the kitchen and bedroom, can I have two stars please?

Mummyof5, I've used the plastic scouring pads on mine before and if needed good of jiff/ciff whatever they call it now. Make sure the iron is cool though or you'll have plastic stuck to it aswell! :rotfl:
