Hope your little one is doing well, an update would be good.
I did fly this morning before work - I always do just to keep on top of things. House looks good at first glance, I am basically tidy and so is DH, but on a closer look everywhere needs a good bottoming.
    Today before work I've:
    aired and made bed
wm on and then hung out - though they will be like cardboard before I get home!
    ss the kitchen
    washed the kitchen floor
cleaned upstairs loo DD boyfriend needs to learn to aim properly!!
    Emptied bins

    Hi Carlsberggal!

I've hoovered through the whole place, altho the LR will need doing again as I didnt do the edges and my side of the bed as I havn't done the floordrobe yet! But the floor is no longer crunchy, so that's a result!

The WM is on too, I put the duvet cover straight in as the washing is drying very quickly in this warm weather so thought I would make the most of it!

Next step: lunch and then remake the bed.

RoseP- you're doing great! So is hubby's advert by the sound of things!

Carlsberggal - hello nice to see see you

I'm battling with the heat at the moment. I've taken the curtains down from my bedroom and washed them - they're now line drying. I'm giving the living room a good dyson through and having a 5 minute rest as I'm too hot - the animals are moulting something rotten.

Have also heard from the university - they are very interested in meeting up to discuss my book :D

She's good at the moment *touch wood*:p She's enjoying her last few weeks of primary one, cant believe she is nearly finished P1!
Saw one of her surgeons last week and they are finally going to try and fix her hernia, after 5 years of waiting to see if it would go away on its own:rolleyes: Its a bit more complex than a normal hernia so surgery might not work but its worth a go.
Other medical conditions are stable at the moment so we are enjoying it while it lasts.

    Hi gang.

I'm having a bit of a flying day today. Kids are in nursery as i was supposed to be going to some work training, but as i didn't remind them i was going, and i am having a shocker at work at the moment then i don't think i am going to be bothering to go.

    I've done ok:
    • 4 loads of washing done and on line
    • bathroom bin emptied
    • clothes taken off the airer upstairs from only knows when and put away
    • sorted through some paperwork
    • got kids clothes ready for the next few days.

I'm again facing the dilemna of whether i really should be teaching or not. I had a really bad day yesterday. One pupil who has been supposedly in the learning support unit returned to lessons and caused absolute havoc. When i challenged him and said if he didn't settle there would be a detention he told me he would petrol bomb the school. Out of a class of 15, they were all high as kites bar one, and so abusive to me. Downright rude. I broke down in tears after the lesson, and then spent a lot of last night crying, and TBH, am welling up again all day today at the thought of going in again. It's not like it is just one lesson. All the classes are such hard work and i am putting in as much as i can to have crap lessons all the time. It's making me ill. I feel like my chest is really tight and i can't breathe, and my throat has a lump in it all the time.

I don't want to feel like i've made a hasty decision, but how many times can i come to this point? It's making me feel ill and if i can't even do my job with 2 LSA's in the class, and for one class another actual teacher, makes you wonder. It saddens me that i have gone from being a successful teacher and filmed teaching to show others how to do it well to being so bad.

Sorry, don't want to get anyone else on a downer. I'm not in a fab place with it all at the minute.

I have awarded myself a star. The bedroom is done and I'm ahead on living room day :D

I'm now going to think about some lunch and then crack on with the book this afternoon.
