to be fair to you Graham - you have a point. volumes are low.
however, those same volumes are more than when prices were dropping and they were good enough to quote stats then. why would it be any different now?
what you linked up to, was about politics and their own slant, not about data from another source0 -

I couldnt link to the data, but anyone can search on Merthyr data on the site and see there were no sales last 2 months, but a massive increase in price, from -5.5% annual to +3.3% annual in just one single month (with no sales).
How does that skew the average?
I think the data is just phucked, tbh, and I don't want an argument of who's right and who's wrong, I could just see absolutely no reason for merthyr prices to go to +3.3%.
i don't know either but i was getting the point across about regional and even local differences in house prices going up or going down.
we never argue - we don't want to live in Merthyr do we?Graham_Devon wrote: »what you linked up to, was about politics and their own slant, not about data from another source

I've seen you ask this question a couple of times in other threads, but you're only setting yourself up for more aggressive responses that circumvent the questionThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Ahaaaa, but you had to use an area with very dodgy data to prove your point
Please, use another:p

i'm a big boy - i can take it.
only one person has come back with an answer on that - and that was Generali... the usual attitude is to take the discussion personal to avoid answering it...0 -
It means people are bitter. Like the people on here who like to try and make out I made a mistake.0

:rotfl:I really hope everyone here managed to miss the new-build boat aka Titanic Mark II. I really can't believe anyone on this board would be dumb enough to board it. :rotfl:
