It's years since I used Stardrops and it's only the last few days reading this board that I've been reminded of it again, gonna bag me some as it's fabulous (don't know why I stopped using it) my late mam used to wash everything with it, and from what I can remember she used to use a capful for the dishes, I can't see why it can't be used on laminate flooring, as a weak dilution maybe 1-2 capfuls would be ok?0

I absolutely love stardrops. I reguarly use it on my laminate floor with good results. To be honest I just throw a good squirt into the hot water. When I ran out of washing up liquid recently I remembered stardrops & couldn't believe how much my wine glasses shone, with no "after taste" either. Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

Hi lil_me
I'm going to add your query onto the end of the thread that westywoodpecker kindly linked to in order to help keep all the queries and tips in one place.
Posts are listed in date order so you'll need to read from the beginning to catch up. It's a long thread, so make sure that your chair is comfy and perhaps have a nice hot cuppa to hand

i bought a bottle of this on sunday and a microfibre cloth. i made up how it says and i cleaned the house it was fab stuff. only prob was my hands went bright red and swelled up. so now have to use rubber gloves. but i've been washing floors twice a day now as i love the fresh clean smell of star drops. it so great it cleans everything. it is even good for washing the walls. didn't like it to clean the mirror as it made it streaky . but hey thats not bad really.0

well i cleaned my sofa today. i was dubious and after trying many products over the eyars. anyway it hasn't fully dried yet so i haven't hoovered it. but i must say the results so far are excellent. and it smells all nice of stardrops.0

Tried it for the first time last night on the ceramic hob - must say I'm impressed how much a couple of neat drops on a cloth did! Much easier than my usual washing up liquid. Rinsing the cloth off in the sink made that all shiny too.
Thinking of trying it on the inside of the oven at the weekend.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Disinfectant. Made by the same people as Stardrops. Also concentrated - one bottle (about £1) should make something like 5 litres of disinfectant. (Edit: watch for the sizes - I bought 120 ml in Wikinson's for 98p, but I just bought 200 ml yesterday in Morrison's for the same price!) I mix a capful in with my Stardrops solution to do the two jobs in one. It comes in very flowery scents (bouquet and lilac and others as well I think), but I prefer the Cool & Fresh, which smells sort of citrusy. It's usually easier to source than Stardrops - most of the pound shops and supermarkets seem to sell it, as well as places like U-save, Wilkinson's and the like.jcr16 wrote:well i cleaned my sofa today. i was dubious and after trying many products over the eyars. anyway it hasn't fully dried yet so i haven't hoovered it. but i must say the results so far are excellent. and it smells all nice of stardrops.
I cleaned my (cream, for goodness sake - not my choice!) carpet at the weekend - got rid of all the drink stains, etc.0 -
jcr16 I managed to have an allergic reaction to it aswell, plastic loves out, can't use rubber. Did the kitchen with it today, fridge so shiney my eyes hurt.
Mentioned it to a friend and she asked if she could use it in her Vax, I have no idea, anyone tried this ?iceicebaby wrote:Stardrops? Ive not seen this. maybe its before my time?
