I have some microfibre cloths but have found old beer towels from your local pub brilliant for cleaning anything. They will tackle tough jobs where you may ruin a MF cloth !

    ........Stardrops

After reading all your advice on what you do with Stardops, i decided last night to have a go at removing a stain on my stairs....Well after washed the stain, i thought what the hell, gonna have to do the rest now.... so ending doing all the stairs, and a rug.

WOW, woke up this morning, and all the hard work paid off. My stairs look like new.
Hoping that when I start looking after the pennies, and the pounds will take care of them selves :j

Sound great! How did you use the stardrops to wash the carpet? I've used on lots of things, but not tried it on carpets and using my steam cleaner is taking forever - I'd love to find another way.

Asda, Tesco, Wilko to name but three. I would imagine most of the large supermarkets. Don't forget the Microfibre cloths too.

It can be quite hard to spot the stardrops as they don't put out a large supply of them. They are stocked on the general cleaning shelves in a clear plasic bottle (quite tall) and contain an amber liquid. actually here's a link to teir website where you'll see a piccy of them. It'll make them easier to find!

Shame - I was hoping that I'd only have to wave the bottle at it ;-)
