On a window cleaning note has anyone ever heard of a window cleaning thingy which is magnetic so you can clean the outside of upstairs windows?

I'm sure I saw one in a magazine but can't find it for the life of me and my upstairs windows are awful!
  • Is that like those fish tank cleaners (they don't seem to work that well though!)?

Earlier this week we had our gas fire serviced. I carefully covered the cream/beige carpet with dustsheeets and gave the engineer newspapers to put the imitation coals on whilst he was doing the service. Left him to it, a little while later he came out looking sheepish :o and asked if I had any 1001 as he had got somehow got soot under the cloths and had marked the carpet:mad:
I said I didn't have 1001 but did have Stardrops and micro-fibre cloth - phew! it worked too!!
He was impressed and asked where to buy both products. I guess he will be needing them if he goes round marking everyone's carpets!

I have just bought my first bottle of Stardrops, from Savers 69p.
Tried it dilute with a micro-cloth on some old stains on my cream stair carpet. They soon disappeared! Well done Stardrops! I will continue to try it on other things round the house, but so far so good!
    keep smiling,

i have just brought my first ever bottle (and got one for my mum too!!)
    and a micro fibre cloth.

how do i clean my bathroom with stardrops? do i dilute it? or use it neat on a cloth? i usually use cillet bang , but it never seems to get teh water marks off.
  • I squirted a bit over the taps, then put some on a cloth to do the bath and then rinsed everything off. HTH loopy.
