I use Stardrops for most cleaning jobs, have done for years. You can even use it for washing clothes.
With regard to it being environmentally friendly- well don't know the scientific stuff but..... I am prone to dermatitis on my hands. Cannot use washing up liquid but can use Stardrops with no problem.

I find the cheapest place to buy it is Tesco think it was 58p last time I got some. Have never used it's sister product Starclen I think it is, but after reading some of these threads will certainly try it.
You could do away with almost all other cleaning products combining it with the microfibre cloths, which incidentaly, look like towelling.
    Keep on trucking!
  • I'm using up all my old cleaners now but its really annoying to do as they don't work as well - but I'm not wasting them!
I may even wash the windows later - I'm a bit gutted as I bought some super dooper window cleaner from lakeland and its pants!

Do you mean Nilglass? It used to be fantastic but they have changed the formulae and it really is rubbish now - I just use vinegar.
  • Halloweenqueen - take your window cleaner back to Lakeland if you are not happy. I've found their customer service excellent in the past. For example, I once mentioned to them something I wasn't happy with which I had bought previously when i was paying for something else and they told me to bring it back on my next visit, which I did - several months later - no receipt or anything. Refunded to me no problem, no fuss, no bother, no calling the supervisor etc.

BTW - anyone used Stardrops to clean the car? I bought two bottles last night and noticed a bird had done it's worst on my car this morning.

Just a quick note about microfibre cloths - I got a pack of 4 (supposedly) different ones for £1 at Poundland - best deal I've seen so far!
  • Thanks, I'll try getting in touch with them - Its called squeegee off!
