I can remeber actually going to get the stuff and her filling up the tub. It was over thirty years ago. Thanks for the tip on the stardrops and the microfibre cleaning clothes, I too am converted and love the smell.
Me too! lol my mum used to give it me for bubbles0 -

Hi all!
Have been using (and converted to ) stardrops for a while now and thought i'd try to clean my carpets with it.we have beige carpets that were new 6 months ago but we also have a 2 year old and three cats with muddy feet! Tried the recipe for the vax and to be honest it made no difference. So i put the stardrops in a spray bottle diluted and started scrubbing, then vaxed the bit i'd scrubbed...came up a treat!
Only prob is my whole house needs doing!stairs the lot!:eek:does anyone have any alternative ways of me getting the carpet clean other than hands and knees scrubbing then vaxing as i think i might hit the wine if i have to do that!!!
Huge thanks!!0 -

how do you clean mirrors with stardrops and glass ?
I started using Stardrops for cleaning glass recently and my windows and mirrors have never been so clean :-)
I use a spray bottle with a little bit of stardrops (a couple of centimetres in the bottom), a little bit of vinegar (about the same quantity) and filled with water. Spray onto the glass, wipe with a cloth, then polish - I use a microfibre cloth designed for glass. Very little effort, very little time, and completely clean and streak-free.
(I use the same spray for all sorts of cleaning jobs - bathrooms, kitchen, tiled floors...it works well all over.)0
