Ummm...never 'bumped' before
I've just discovered this site and have put a few books on. From searching I seen people discussing it but no positive feedback and nothing recent?
So, is anyone still using it and has anyone had good results from it? Please?
Cheers!0 -

I've sold a couple of books on there but do find that it takes a long time for the book to sell (due to the Greenmetropolis sytem of listing books).
I prefer selling on Amazon, even in spite of the higher fees, because you can list your own price and the sales go through a lot quicker.
This thread HERE is a more recent thread about Greenmetropolis that might be useful.
Also, have a look at the Amazon thread HERE for some useful advice about selling books.0 -
Thanks for the links - this is such a humongous forum, it's easy to miss something
I never had much success with Amazon, probably due to the books I was trying to sell. I find it hard to part with books at the best of times so was getting rid of the dross which, obviously, no-one else wanted either, or there were hundreds of them out there already. I didn't put much time or effort into it though; time to adress that methinks.
Cheers !

I've bought a few books through them, recently. The quality was excellent and the system works quite well. No experience of selling there.0

I have sold lots more books since I started this thread - lots of si-fi & horror
Its a really simple system you just get an email when you have sold a book with the address on & update the site when you have posted it then money goes into your account which you can use to buy books yourself or ask to be tranferred to your bank account
You can also set up a wishlist for books you want that are not in stock
Its worth putting book on that's only worth pennies on amazon

I did the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago. It was strange because I hadn't had a sale for a while and then I sold the same book in two days on amazon and greenmet.
If you go onto you account, or the email they sent you there is an email address for customer services. If you send them an email explaining what happened greenmetropolis will refund your buyer within 48 hours.0
