They used to charge 500 piggy points for a £5 voucher if i recall correctly... They were definately less! :rolleyes:0 -
Anybody else notice how slow their website has been over the past 2-3 days? It keeps taking ages to load some of their pages and has crashed a few times on me saying 'internal server error'. Wonder if they're making some technical changes their end or something0

In defense of Pigsback, i've had to e-mail them on several occasions & have always recieved a fast response, all my queries have been dealt with professionally & quickly, and I think Pigsback & the team behind it are awesome, no other site that i'm aware of has been close. Are you sure that your e-mails were recieved?0

I do have one question though! I've just changed my e-mail address, will this make a difference for any points owing?0

Yep they have all been received. I have had silly excuses from them such as to look in my spam folder, when I dont have it even turned on! I know others have had the same problem. I know that when we get 'free points' we should be greatful for the freebies, however they are making money from us visiting the site and sponsors paying. Additionally I feel particularly annoyed when I actually make a purchase and dont get the points. At the end of the day Pigsback are a business and should respond professionally :A0 -

The claims about vouchers costing more points than they used to are, I believe, unfounded.
Originally, PB offered a much more limited number of vouchers, and these were mainly from an organisation called "Love2Shop". They cost 1150 points, as £10 vouchers for Boots, Arcadia, John Lewis, etc., do now.
However, there were some vouchers which did cost 500 for the £5 ones. They were not high street shop vouchers, though, but some other sort. Wish I could remember (maybe Kazzea can), but perhaps they were similar to the Whitbread Leisure Vouchers currently offered.
I would point out that even now Adonis vouchers are 1000 points for £10, 2000 points for £20, and the Champneys £25 voucher costs 25000 points.
Where I have an issue with PB and high street vouchers is that, no matter how many you order, you are charged the same "extra" 150 points for each voucher, as a profit margin and posting and handling charge, I presume.
I have asked PB previously to consider reducing this charge for multiple orders. I now have 9830 points. Soon be enough for £100-worth of vouchers, you would think. But in fact, £100-worth of vouchers costs 115000 points - a charge of £15, or 15%. A bit pricey, if you ask me!!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
With tonight's little bag of goodies, that's 320 points for me this week. Newer members, and those who copped the first egg, should have even more! Sorry that you've had such poor service. Darragh said before that they had some problem with hotmail accounts (for some reason their mail doesn't always get delivered or something). Could it be this?
I normally go through the 'contact us' bit on the PB homepage and they've usually responded within 24 hours, I hope you get a response soon!In a Den first, Theo Paphitis has been getting business information from a talking tree.0
