You will get the PiggyPoints the first time your friend spends their PiggyPoints on a reward.

Just thought I'd let you all know the easter egg points still work. My OH just went and found the egg and got his points credited straight away.

If its a new PC, check in the internet options that it's allowed to set cookies, that could be your problem.
